  1. Noticed an older post I made & was interested in buying my Activision jacket. Hassle-free negotiation & very polite throughout the exchange. An excellent new member!!
  2. HOW did I miss your post on this, oh so many yrs ago? "This is Ken Thomas, WJJY in Brainerd & we're playing 'Cash Call.' "CHESS BALL?" "A pair of choppers [leather mittens]" "Ernie is not here right now, this is Grandma here alone." PS Happy Retirement to Tom Barnard
  3. I think Thunderfox (exclusively for Atari 8-bits) is like this
  4. The yellow cups were found in the trash barrels at the end of the long rows of tables in the party room. They were clean so I assumed they werent for drinks- but I wouldve washed them out & took em anyway, cuz at that point I'd learned they were out of my size/style shirt at the souvenir counter in that same room. Meanwhile my wife & kids were cashing in Harpoon Lagoon tickets DOWNstairs to get the shirt in the above pic.
  5. We have no problem with vertical length in our basement space; but the narrowest point between 2 walls is 12 ft (144") so apparently only 1.5' (18") shy of what is "required". However only a portion- maybe 2 ft (the end where the balls are racked) of the table would occupy that area. We could even get shorter cue sticks.
  6. I have the chance to get a FREE 8 ft pool table & wifey greenlit it last week but now she's giving me opposition- mainly saying we can't fit an 8 footer in our space. Sent me a screenshot showing the minimum space around ANY table should be 5' but I find this somewhat outlandish & excessive. I literally can't recall 5' around any of the tables I remember playing in the past in a residential setting. Do you owners get by with less than 5' all around?
  7. Bought today if today were June 30 TBH the shirt cost money. The yellow cups were free (from the 3rd floor party room trash but they were clean, IDK if they held tokens cuz the rest of the place had smaller clear plastic cups.) The round item is a poker chip worth 10 free tokens- I kept it. & I grabbed 2 brochures that happened to perfectly fit a glassed frame I was getting rid of- cool gameroom swag!
  8. I saw a preliminary list where i thought they had the ATARI 8-BIT version on there which would be a big mistake.
  9. Oh & here's my Beach Volleyball guy I always use "BRADLEYYYYYYY STEWARRRRRT!!" I used him as a FB Profile pic recently but everyone was like WTF's that guy ? ☀️?⛱?
  10. Here's my boy & I pulling a couple bass out of the local pond. We're in Minnesota so we got a ton of places to go
  11. Thats cool, I always had a group of 3 PS2 "summer games" I tried to play every summer: Tiger Woods 2003, Splashdown, & Summer Heat Beach Volleyball. SHBV is the only one I still have. I try to start a tournament on or around Memorial Day weekend & finish up by Labor Day. Funny Dreamcast SMF story: my dad was an active outdoorsman but not a gamer...I had him try SMF with the controller since he was used to a fishing reel, & when he set the hook he yanked the controller plug right out of the DC unit & it flew across the room ??
