  1. I always like the red labels more. However, if it would be possible I'd like to see a Parker Bros label. Granted it would be more difficult b/c the text was more graphical than atari games. is
  2. I'll blaspheme here and say Adventure. You're a square and to quote StrongBad, "Somebody get this freakin' duck away from me!" is
  3. I don't know how many hours I wasted as a child just running the guy in Berzerk into the walls to watch him fry. When I got my 2600 for xmas a few years ago that was the first game I popped in and I still giggled at it. is
  4. Totally agree with you on all points Tig. The game is one of the classics that I'll always remember from my early childhood (along with Pitfall II and Alpha Beam with Ernie). The replayablity is just superb. On topic, I've never seen anything higher than the white dragon. What are the colours again? It's been a long time since I've plugged anything into my Atari. I remember (in no particular order) green, red, blue, purple, black, and white. is
  5. I love both as well and was about to push the Activision button but decided that Imagic was just a smidge better. Maybe it's more nostalgia than anything but I love Imagic games. is
  6. OOO I like those pictures. Much more of what I was looking for than what the comic had. Thanks a lot! is
  7. Ah ha! Thanks Al, you da man. is
  8. Hey all... I was checking out some box scans for some references to drawings I'm working on and noticed that Berzerk came with a comic. I looked at the comics page and didn't see it there. Does anyone have one? If so, could you scan it? I'd really like to see what it was. Thanks, is
  9. How do you not get hit by anything and still make it down below Porky's so you can get to the girls' shower? is
  10. If I remember correctly... The Brothers Chap (HSR guys) actually wrote the story for the game and are totally in cahoots with the project. The problem lies with, what else, atari. A lot of the monsters/bad guys you fight in the game were going to be Atari characters. I don't think Atari much cared for that and got in a huffy about it. Thus, work was halted until either permission could be obtained or some reworking of the story could be made. is
  11. Meh.. keep it closed... It might actually have some value then. It is very much an NTSC release. It was one of the first games I got when I got my 2600 a few years ago. I made it to the sphinx a few times and beat it once. That was good enough for me. I just really don't like the game at all. is
  12. I'm with ya. Of course I don't really trust anyone. Especially not here (no offense anyone) after the Flexured/Airworld incident. is
  13. Why am I not going to buy it? I already have a 2600. My gramma's from way back in the day, a heavy 6er. It plays my 100+ games b-e-a-utifully. I can use that $30 on something else, too. I can buy anywhere up to 120 new Atari carts with that (though that'd be mostly commons I already have). I could pay part of my rent for next year. A few good CDs. Plenty of other useful stuff out there that I could buy. I have a 2600 and I don't think it's going kaput on me any time soon. The last reason I'm not buying it is b/c I don't want to support this "Atari." It's just a re-hashing of the games I already own. You say they worked hard to bring this to us. They put a few roms that other people programmed years ago into a moulde. Big woop. I dunno, I just really don't see the need for all this hoopla when most of the people on here do indeed love the 2600 and like the real deal. I know I prefer that over this 40-in-1 thing. is
  14. RT was one of the first games I picked up for my NES. I remember playing it back on my original NES and rediscovered it via emulation. Definitely a must have and hard as hell. is
