  1. i'll do that when i get back to my house, which will be in a couple days, will reply when it is done
  2. I found a pal 6 switch, it was made in hong kong.
  3. I bought the game at a flea market for $2, went home, played it on my modded atari, got past the first maze on the first try, but lost all my lives, had one left. That is the best I did, that game is incredibly hard and noticibly fast than the other pac-man games
  4. the capacitor has the same stats except its 50 volts instead of 100. The atari is battery operated, not the capacitor. The AAs last longer than a 9 volt!
  5. If you have an atari 2600 4 switch, go over to Atari Hardware on the forums and look at my a/v mod!
  6. I got a 50 volt capacitor but the other systematics is the same, could i use that? Also, I made it battery operated, and i have a 8 AA holder, would that work also?
  7. It's high up there in the rarity column, that most of the time jacks it up a bit.
  8. take out the ufo, and take out the complete game! Option 4 with Difficulty A is the arcade default.
  9. I thought of making something like that a while ago, but didnt have the materials, nice job!
  10. Here is the stupid people's text version of the mod. Open up the atari, and take out the metal shield. On the front, there is the chip all the way to the bottom. Flip over the board, find that chip's pins on the bottom of the board, the bottomost chip. On the bottom section of the chip, from right to left, count two. Follow up that lead to the resister. Solder a wire for luma on that resister and one to three in the row to the left. For chroma, solder one more to the left. Combine for the standard video. From where u soldered the chroma, count two left, one up. That is the audio. Solder a wire there to the a/v jacks u bought. Solder a wire from the ground of the jacks to the metal band that the metal went on. Turn the atari on! Here is the short way for just a/v. Follow that chip's lead mentioned earlier. Including that spot, solder 5 wires in a row to the left. Then count two left, one up, solder a wire there. That is audio, the 5 is video.
  11. I have done it, it works! If anyone wants it, email me at poolshark2002_18@hotmail.com, if the color is screwed up, try a different source, that is what happened to me. I thought it was the mod, but i tried on a different tv and it works beautifully. It's a woodgrain, but the vader should be the same. Pictures will come when i get the chance to get them.
  12. I scored two ways... #1: by my girlfriend, , #2, i picked up a PAL heavy sixer atari for $10!
  13. kaboom!, california games, ms. pac-man, spider fighter, spider-man = staying up all night glued to the atari!
  14. california games was pretty good, i like it
  15. I put in my vote, Atari 2600 all the way!
