  1. 5. Casino (HA! I bet that doesn't show up again!!) 4. Stampede 3. Enduro 2. Ice Hockey 1. River Raid I am a poker addict and love the 5-stud game on Casino. It's great practice for counting pot size and outs in present day popular poker games like hold'em and 7-stud. Stampede is the most challenging 2600 game I own. I've been playing it for a couple months and still haven't gotten the 3000 points needed to win the old patch. Ice Hockey is the best sports game ever for the 2600, and in my opinion River Raid is the best shooter. I could easily add another 10 games to this list!!!!
  2. 3 things: 1) gasoline 2) a match 3) some marshmallows to toast over the flames and toxic fumes rising from the burning cart.
  3. Hahaha...this may not count but it's a good one anyway. I was WWF wrestling with my litte brother circa 1984 and body slammed him to the floor. Unfortunately, there was a joystick laying out and the stick poked him in the eye. His eye was fine, but it was swollen shut for over a week. My mom was PISSED. Lance
  4. Hi, I just dug my old Atari 2600 from the crawlspace. Needless to say I am very excited to fire the old mother up after a 15 year hiatus, but I don't have the joysticks anymore! So here's my question: what are the best brand(s) of joysticks to get for the 2600 in terms of durability and durability/price (or any other criterion)? I remember those things breaking all the time when I was a kid, and since they aren't available in every KMart in the country anymore I'd like to get some that will last awhile. Any suggestions? I don't necessarily want some $50 joystick made of titanium, just a good one for the $. Also, are there any particularly bad brands to stay away from? Thanks a lot... Lance
