  1. WOAH!!!! So awesome. The additional promotional type stuff really rounds the collection out
  2. I bowed out on that one after it hit +$50. I'm cheap lol
  3. That sounds great, and yes, I wish they'd have released them in plastic boxes to begin with too.
  4. Quite a few of the boxes I have are in poor shape so I have been putting the boxes on a shelf after taking the cartridge out. I've got all of my boxes on a DVD storage unit, all of my cartridges in a shoebox, and all of my instructions in a zip lock by my cartridges. Suffice to say, it looks pretty terrible. I want to be able to enjoy the artwork of these boxes but I don't want to put them through the wear and tear of actual usage (I know, I should just get a Multicart lol.. working on it) So.. what are your solutions? Some boxes I've got have been gently taped back into place with clear tape, is this a good idea or does it take away from the value? Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd ever collect CIB, my Atari games are all loose cart but with the O2 it's actually not that expensive to 'do it right'. PPS, what's your recommended multi-cart, since I know this is probably the best idea down the line
  5. I'm the proud owner of an o2 and a handful of games just because of how much fun I had playing in the archive. My aunt had one growing up but I didn't do a whole lot of gaming on it.. now that's going to change! But yeah, it's introduced a heck of a lot of clutter.
  6. I know it didn't officially have an exclamation mark, but it's the Odyssey2! So we have to! OK OK, sillyness aside, I'd never heard of this title before until today when I was browsing archive.org. Found a little information on it but I am very curious. Does anyone have any information about this release? It seems odd to give away the Euro console to schools just to have a rather unfun version of Freeway. The CSV Video-Traffic Games Edition of the G7000 was given to primary schools in a small region of West Germany. The package consisted of a G7000 and two special games -- Verkehrsspiele 1and Verkehrsspiele 2 -- that were used to teach children how to behave on the street. The console set is nothing more than a repackaging of a regular Philips G7000. The package comes with a special "Video-Traffic Games" sticker affixed to the TV screen depicted by the box art. It contains a regular G7000, the two games, and some documentation. The first volume of the traffic games was also given away to members of the German Commander-ROM club as Videopac "V," and retitled Kinder im Verkehr 1 (Kids in Traffic 1).
  7. I'll do that if the RCA Type F doesn't work.. because then it's probably the modulator that isn't working properly. Should know by Wednesday. Will keep an eye out for the kit
  8. I left the system on since I posted this and it got warm on the back so I'm going to just assume the switchbox is a d-bag and mod it .. so scope of question changing.. what's the best modern cable that isn't too fat to fit? http://www.ozyr.com/o2/tvcordhk.htmlunless someone smarter than I (ie anyone else on AA) still thinks it's a power supply issue
  9. OK, so.. got an O2 off ebay.. trying to hook it up to an old Spectricon tv with the VHF screw connectors. It's a first model without the type F cable. Doesn't seem to work. Have tried Channel 3 and 4, and have made sure the prongs are securely connected to the VHF section. No results. Now, before I go and get the standard type F and plug in that way, is there an easy way I could check the system to make sure that is isn't dead? It came with 2 power supplies both OEM and have tried both of them to no avail. It's been a long time since I've tinkered with electronics so I have to borrow a multimeter from work tomorrow but as the topic states, I don't know where to put my positive and negative clamps at to check it. If anyone out there has an O2 and wouldn't mind taking theirs apart to visually show me, they'd be a true gentleman/lady and a scholar.
  10. I found an old 1982 Spectra something or another TV on the side of the road and it works fine.. but it only has Coax. If I hooked up an coax to RCA RF Modulator, would that be sufficient for the Colecovision/Intv flashback? TV doesn't have RCA obviously. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0014KKV7W/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_1?pf_rd_p=1944687742&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B0009MCNX6&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=KX8ABH5X957TEPK7ZTBX
