I'm sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but where can someone buy CV Dig Dug- not that "mega cart?" I've tried finding out on the Internet, but only get back e-Bay replies.

Thanks in advance!

Ecoleco used to sell them, I have two so I can let one go for the price I paid. PM me

Nice to hear from you. Reading this thread prompted me to bring out the controllers I got from you way back when.

Fireman for Colecovision, no reserve auction starting for a penny.

Authentic copy, not one of the many bad copies appearing of late.

The whole lot is Telegames, every one of them. I own them all, some would come in green plastic clamshell cases, others in plastic baggies.

My experience with Alcazar is that some carts are faulty. I have two of these I bought brand new and both of them the game doesnt work beyond that opening screen seen in the pic. QC at Telegames I believe was all but non-existent.

If you are going to bid on this one, ask the guy if the game goes beyond that screen!

9oz. from USA to Canada cost me $15.50 and the is First Class International with Paypal shipping discount. International from USA to Canada has reached a point where a Canadian customer would REALLY have to want something to pay the ridiculous shipping costs.

Id love to pay only 15.50 for a shipment from the US. Its like if I want to buy anything anymore on Ebay I have to beg the seller to send 1st class because they all want to use Priority Post or even worse the dreaded Global Shipping Program and its not uncommon to get a quote of $40 to $100 dollars to send a game from US to me in Canada.

I always figured that is why these games sell for full game prices (aka $50-$60, etc...).

Its called economies of scale. Giving a programmer a small honorarium to port a game from MSX etc, costs of printing small runs of boxes and labels and manuals, cost of carts and PCBs etc - there is not huge profits to be made by selling 50 copies of a homebrew @ $50 bucks. More a labour of love really.

#3448524 Intellivision Purchases and Deals

I do a fair amount of travel for business and one thing I do is visit flea markets, used video game stores and pawn shops.

Last trip to Texas I dropped in just at closing time , asked if he had any Intellivision games. Owner says he has just some sports titles mostly that most people aren't interested in. $5 bucks each.

Holy crap, I filled a few holes with this lot pretty cheaply.

#3437587 Coleco Chameleon - what you think?

Posted by coleconut on Wed Feb 10, 2016 9:42 PM

And maybe I,m being too critical. But stuff like heres what the experts are saying - Coleco is making a console. I mean its a little underwhelming if thats supposed to be an endorsement to generate some level of excitement or legitimacy .
