Its a sears telegames six switcher. How do you adjust the color pot? I would like to try that first before I go soldering new chips in.

Where could I find a replacement chip? What is involved in replacing this chip, allot of soldering or does it just snap in somehow?

Yes, its only the black colors. What can i do to fix the TIA chip?

I have a second Atari which does not give the same problem, on the same TV with the same cartridge. This problem happens with other cartridges on the problematic Atari too.

I received my first 2600 the other day. It came with a bunch of problems, most of which I have fixed. The RF switch was busted ( I replaced with a coaxial converter) and the power jack needed to be re soldered. My new problem is with the graphics. The system runs fine for a couple of minuets and then the blacks turn into this orange and it looks pretty bad. See attached picture for what I mean. Is there anyway to fix this?
