  1. From your review: "I appreciated that it ended up actually being kind of hard to catch the ghosts in this version. Even with multiple strategies, I still miss a few here and there which adds to the replayability and challenge of what was such an impressive gaming sequence when the title released on the C64 all those years ago. " It looks like the "adaptive difficulty" feature (not included on the C64 original) is working as intended 🙂 The game should feel challenging to players of all skill levels... but not too much. PS.: for those who miss having more than one skill setting... simply try playing without buying the ghost bait. Buy a trap instead. That should keep you busy 🙂
  2. Idea: submit a demo as part of the Intybasic Programming Contest.
  3. I would try showing the contents of the .cfg to the Backbit devs. It may be good for them to see how memory is being used.

A tighter range is a good thing, as it indicates there's not much of a tendency to nitpick categories when voting. Big thanks to the Intellivision Community for engaging once again with this tradition! See you next year!
  5. I gave @atari2600land’s version a shot, I think the difficulty is more reasonable when compared with Paku Paku. It’s a fun little game, I like it. Could be great as part of a compilation.
  6. Polls are now closed and results will be announced during an upcoming Papa Pete stream. Stay tuned!
  7. @decle impressive submission, with flair points for the digs.
  8. There is a distinction between admins and mods. I am a mod, for instance. But depending on what you are thinking, you may need to contact Albert (admin).
  9. I’d like to contribute to the prizes by offering ebooks from Nanochess’s store. Top 5 participants get one ebook (of their choice) each. My treat. https://nanochess.org/store.html
  10. Because that takes more work and space? Non-deterministic: - read location $9FFE. Deterministic: (from Developer's Guide) ● Set up a “seed” in memory to denote the game’s notion of “current random number”. ● To generate the next random number, perform the following steps: a. Copy the seed from RAM to location $9FFD b. Write a fixed value to $9FFC c. Copy the updated seed from $9FFD back to RAM. ● Use the updated seed as the next random number.
  11. JLP has deterministic and non-deterministic random number generators.
  12. Honestly I can't see how having a massive poll with 30+ options, and people ganging up when voting to 'teach others a lesson' makes for a better system.
