In the begining. My father brought me a NES but I never liked it since I never understood anything but Mario dying each time I fell. Then I moved and I met my cousin who also had Mario. We played duckhunt, and Super Mario together. Afterwards I really wanted a SNES along with the fact I would watch Super Mario Brothers Super Show all the tim. Part II I would go home and try to play my NES but I never liked playing alone. Later on when everybody had SNES but me I was playing Mario, watching mario, and this continued into the N64 days. During this time I would be playing games with my cousin while he had genesis I had SNES. Part III The Second Generation of RPG for USA had appear and I was high on Super Mario RPG while my cousin was into FF7. This was the time of commercial RPG games that strayed away from the boring DAD board games that we all have come to known more recently. Personally the RPG madness continued into today where I even now prefer the DAD but I have my thoughts. Part IV The dark ages of games with the N64 and nothing to play, everything I sqaundered could have been put into a better investment. It was Naszi germany playing the N64 while the SNES2 ( PSX ) had all that animated madness. Personally games towards the end like perfect dark, and bomberman N64 2 kept me going everything else had me making fun inside my own. I mean there is lots of good games but to find out.........is like planet of the apes. Part V Again with Nintendo chioce I was playing GCN. During this time I started to careless about game systems and focus of game design along with artwork. Prior to this I was also playing roms on 56K internet, and emulating PSX. I mean god almighty are damned. After the Wii, Re4, and Beyond Good and Evil I gave up all hope and retracted to the SNES. Partt VI The Saturn and SNES is the place to be with supieor graphics. I am now into animation ( which I have been since I was born ) and comicbooks. To be honest I loved games for the creativity they provided us not the programming efforts, 3d, or even realism. 2d was real enough for me and 3d is nice when used correctly but to be honest videogames is a 2d thing. 3d to many newcommers ( three year olds) is something that is new and wonderfull. Personally the idea of 2d is old is dumb. Pat VII I am beyond that, beyond the system, I have no for uncannon valley, or realism to the point of me. Animation realism is the realistic I am happy with. I play Game&watch games out of the box as if they were new and gun games with ducks. I buy simon said and have as much fun I had with Beyond Good and Evil. I am tired and I have decided the best games is the ones I create. Nobody elses. I am now even playing Master System and NES games more. I am outside the loop. I see this neo stuff and fall to sleep. FM sound with PCE graphics and little 3d on the side ( Starfox, Panzer ) is good enough for me. GAME OVER

The problem with that is most videocards have weak signals so people with original systems will have to deal with Ch3 problems with there cards. Also people will need to compress the data and capture sound if possible. I was thinking about that too. However I want videos of people playing the original games before the Pac-man days.

That is it I don't care about this topic no more I am too bored to counter-chat with somebody who feels buying a demo is not worth it. Personally I have gotten to the level where I play a little of everything, and get back to games at a later date. I will admit, there is too much at stake to break into a good game. The Saturn was built to play all past SEGA consoles and can no diffrently then a NES to SNES converter but the hardware is matched to do everything. Unlike a apple II high on NES the Saturn was built specifically to play past systems but dew to concerns of SEGA's market the feature was removed. Think of it like a NES to SNES or Master System to Genesis but somewhere in the middle. Another example is SNES to N64 but there was SNES hardware built into the N64 like Mode 7 or the Sound Mod/Mp3 player.

Nope, It is the same hardware in terms of compadibility. You can even run 32X games on a Saturn. It just does not have the commands and slots to do so. That is not true. It has nothing to identify or where and what to use. Is a graphics accellerator is used to improve graphics by alternating memory and allowing the hardware to do more work in various areas. While it is a memory expansion few saturn games unlike the N64 used it to expand memory usage. Like Sureal music for example along with sound effects. The Saturn memory card is used to improve over all load times, and load extra graphics ( which is not common in any game ). However there is many 2d arcade games that uses it.

Well that would pretty much be everybody who uses a emulator including you. Nobody cares about man laws but god laws only. Mentality is not a word...it is the persons sight of things. Like a comic book, car, or even That is basically like falling in love with another person and having a relationship. It is perfectly normal to go crazy over a higher grade material. I mean even the newer users who is comming around is good for the people who have been hoarding. Do most people read the movie credts? Well most people who are into videogames is nerdish. To be honest I would rather be then spend time in the mirror all day fixing up my hair, watching tv, or making a super meal. There is no competition. Think about the Olympics where people are forced to perform and do feats of super human, and then nothing after that...but only a few who actually go on to keep on doing the same thing. It is the same exact thing with everything. Some of us in life goes on to make the things people uses, while others in life are spenders and have nothing in the end. The answer is plain and simple. No. The GCN will play games better then the Wii since it is the original Hardware. There is no visual enhancements when using the Wii. In order to see the diffrence you will need to have a GCN side by side a Wii flickering back and forth threw gameplay. For all the marbles get a GCN but if you just don't care stay with a Wii. GCN is for standard gamers and Wii is for people who wants the remote thingy.....at least until the PS3 add-on which you can plug into the PSX socket. Wii is also a cheap excuss for a TV kid toy. The Wii is not a Gamecube enhanced. It is Nintendo instead of providing another add-on for there system they just decided to build this thing and call it another system. Everything a Wii can a GCN can do also. In short they lie.

There is no delay in signal from a USB/Composite device unless it is the hardware itself. You can only determine this by trail and error. read more about it at the Audio Video Science Forums and MSFN forums. Eitherway it will go threw. However if you want it really want to get it right on the money you can use a converter ( or whatever it is ) that allows video to be displayed on the labtop. Kinda like a VGA cable to composite or backwords.

Preservation of value. If I loaded up my stuff somebody could just make random copies that is no diffrent. I think most people have at least one game that has not been uploaded yet. I have seen five so far that is unreleased. 1. some fish RPG on N64 2. A gun game for the X-box that you have to order 3. A Remake on the X-box 4. Some kinda fighting game on the Saturn 5. Another RPG on the N64 6. An adventure game on the GBA Also there is communities who share the stuff between each other leaving them out. Also some people here fo not have copy devices or the where abouts to get such programming devices. There is also the games that is at companies that is unreleased like Bullet Proof Monk Beyond Good and Evil Sequels for the GCN and X-box N64 Treasure hunter with some African based woman being the star almost like RE that looks extremly good. D dinner table R2 Some other Have call of the King Resident Evil demos. and of Four Horsemen of Apocolypse...WTF they have not released that game yet on the GCN. They have the screens. Then there is Ports like Haven call of the King RE4 has matrix affects but you can access them with a code deivice.

The Saturn hardware has full support over all SEGA products since this was the original goal of SEGA uptil the Dreamcast. SEGA decided to drop the idea fearing people afar ( like in Brasil, India, Austriallia and Europe ) who was currently being sold the Master System/ and Genesis. It is all past SEGA products rolled up in one missing the code, instructions, and slot to play all past systems. Short answer no for a user but if you have exprience with Saturn emulators maybe then you can play SEGA games on your systems. So far there is a emulator ( since the Saturn does support second disc fucntion like the PSX. I just found a game that does just that ) that emulate discs along with roms. Also another thing to know about the Saturn like the SNES the cart slot can be used for cart based games where SEGA had plan to install the Genesis slot. There is also the codec slot which has various functions. About modems. the Saturn can be used to browse the web but various codes is not supported like the fake flash that is being used today.

Nope Microsoft stop supporting it ( aside for live ), not enough homemade, pirated, or outsider products ( people to affraid of Mafiasoft along with Sintendo ), and most people who owned one never knew they had memory cards. Yes they are. There is no creativity or self expression in them. Just some 3d objects edited in maya or some other 3d program. I am tired of western developers making games with no heart inside them. The last good games was Beyond Good and Evil along with Advent Rising and Dreamfall running behind. These games looks as if it could have made it on the Saturn, PSX, and even SNES. I miss 3d games that felt like movies like Resident Evil for example or comic adventures. Even Japanese made games seems to be not so amazing. I mean they obviously don't want to support the Amerikan X-box, The only ones seems to be capcom, Konami, and other big shots. The little shots can't even compare to what the bigshots have today. Back then all you needed to know was GUI manipulation along with some good artwork while the story wrote it self. Now everything is all these little features I could careless about. 3d is not everything. Yes wow there is no challenge to convert, compress, and upload then to make it all work together. 3d is just exploring in a 3d enviorment and the main usage of 3d was demision and alternative ways to special effects like shadows.

It is not old it is highly advance and new, and it could outdo, out perform, and out sell the 360 and others with the proper creativity, programming, and hardware. All the SNes and Saturn needs is a expansion kit. That is gaming. 3d is a gere and most games in 3d is the same exploration bullcrap. I could careless about the threats. If any 3d game Resident Evil along with others born in this era did any justice for 3d games. Those games is much much more realer then anything you play now. I mean lets face it along with Weapons Of Mass Destruction Bit the idea of 3d only consoles is a joke. Even 3d animation along with pure computer animation sooks compared to real animation. Thanks to stand alone computer animation he entire feild of art is a joke especially in America.

No your just too blind to see the abvious. Fianl fantasy is on a direct squence of events while SaGa allows free combat, then there is the map screen of course. In allit is just the same exact game.
