  1. I got a Blue Lightning demo card as part of an auction. It has a gold label with copyright info that reads "demo card" and you can't play it. The game just plays itself through random levels while switching back to the logo info. Does everygame have one of these? I assume they were for stores or shows... Are they rare?
  2. Shadow of the beast by far Dracula the Undead Toki
  3. yeah, id really be interested in checking out 1 and 2 also! If you dont want them , please let me know!
  4. In going through my old video game stuff I found a copy of Grey Matters Vol 3 and the edge, both mags for the lynx with reviews and screen shots, summaries, tips and Atari promos. So there should be two preceding volumes and possibly another after this one? Any ideas where I could find them? It's an entertaining and nostalgic little publication.
  5. If they're just surface scratches I've heard plexiglass scratch repair buffer often works well. You can get it at most hardware stores. I've never tried it myself so you might want to just try a little in an inconspicuous place to make sure to don't do more damage than good. My problem is dust under the screen, drives me nuts, but at least I can only see it when the unit is off.
  6. I have a mint condition copy of Fidelity's Ultimate Chess Challenge by telegames, with manual, box and warranty card (expired) that I'm willing to trade if anyone is interested. I have played it so no shrink wrap. I also have a copy of Electro cop in same condition that I wouldn't be hard to coax out of. I'm currently looking for batman returns but would trade for nearly any title other than puzzle games.
  7. Thanks! Ill check them out!
  8. I've found a couple websites about making lynx games and for some time I've had some ideas of my own. Does anyone know how I might get started on such a project?
  9. Dracula The Undead is one of my favorite lynx games. In following with the first 5 chapters of Bram Stokers novel (which i re-read when I got stuck in the game) you are trapped in Dracula's castle and must escape. Unlike the run jump kick and shoot games, you do this through exploration of the castle, searching and examining everything for tools and clues, and hopefully taking notes if you want to get out alive. It's not surprising that it is for ages 14 and up, as this game can be quite challenging. The graphics and sound on this cart are extra-ordinary, and give a feel of one of the old Bella Lugosi films as you play through. One finds themselves falling into the game and it's intoxicating environment of the castle. There are only 3 ways to die, by-passable if you ever fall victim to them, so the real challenge comes from trying everything untill you find a way to advance further in the game. This can be daunting to new players, as it takes some time to get used to the controls and options of this game. There are two improvements that I wish had been undertaken in this game. Battery backup so you can save where you are, and a longer game. Once you beat it, you know everything, so you find yourself only going back to the game to be impressed by the graphics and sound. This game is highly demonstrative of the capabilities of the lynx, highly recommended, and i wish there had been more like it.
  10. Hey everyone~ I'm new to this forum and glad to see there are other die hard old school gamers like myself out there! Zarlor mercenary is probably the easiest game for the lynx if you ask me. Power shots or wing cannons and all i have to do is keep pushing a and b and ill beat it. Dracula and Shadow of the beast are challenging, but perfectaly doable once you know what you're doing and looking for. The hardest Ive played are Toki, I can never get past level 4 and its hard to get through 3. Slime world, the mazes never end and are un manageably huge. I never know where I'm going.
