Lite oväntat så verkar RSM bli av i år, efter flera års uppehåll. Mässan hålls 1-2a juni i år och går av stapeln på Ringön, alltså nära Bananpiren där senaste mässan hölls.

Jag såg det. Hade tänkt åka på RSF någon gång men nu blir det aldrig av. Ja då är det bara RG i Västerås och den där retromarknaden i Örebro som är aktuella för tillfället. Man får sikta in sig på höstens RG, när den nu blir av. Inget RSM är ju på tapeten än så länge.

Man får väl förmoda att det kommer att ske ett höst-RG i krokarna runt oktober månad. Vi väntar med spänning. Nästa mässa i Göteborg känns dock lite mer tvetydligt, då det var problem senast för RSM att få lokal. Den andra lokalen på Bananpiren är ju delvis blockerad nu p g a alla byggen som sker i området. Den var optimal för att man kunde släppa på hela kön, så att besökare slapp vänta 2-3 timmar. Känns rent spontant som att bara Västerås och Malmö kommer att leverera på mässfronten i år. Tråkigt att höra om de stulna grejerna på hotellet.

Jag missade själv vinter-RG i år men är sugen på att besöka nästa mässa i höst. Det var ju ett tag sedan p g a pandemin, så därför börjar det bli dags igen. Kanske man kan styra upp någon form av samåk då, som på den gamla goda tiden.

Jag har varit medlem här länge men inaktiv i många år. Nu hittade jag den här tråden, så hej allihopa. Flera av oss har ju träffats innan på mässor och så. Samlingen har vuxit under åren men nu håller jag på att halvera den. Samlar på VCS och XL i Atari-väg samt blandat från olika fabrikat.

I lost my track on the number of times I've beaten this game. I used to speedrun it a few years ago and made a sub 4 run. Remember the game as a kid when I tried to beat it over and over again. It was frustrating until I've learned the game.

I like this game but it is frustratingly hard to play. You always end up dead in the middle of a stage without your power-ups, trying to get back all your upgrades before the boss fight. One simply just have to use the reset button more. Extra lives has no meaning in this game.

It's sad to hear how all these stores close down, one by one. There was a store in the city I live in, that sold lots of different components for this purpose. I found it practical to visit them, for purhases of soldering material and components. First they ceased to take cash, second they closed the shop. I can still order from them online but is is easier sometimes, to buy from a physical store...

I recently got two fully operational CX52-controllers from ebay. I have tried most games in my collection but Berzerk, Vanguard and Kangaroo are the most played titles. It feels great to finally being able to play the games that require the CX52.

Most likely it is the iron core that has imploded. I had one that did after 6 months, another one that went after just 55 minutes. You should however do the power-mod and the AV-mod, so you get away from that switchbox and the sparks.

Voted YES. If this could be done and work with all the games, it would be a very valuable alternative to the CX52-controller. I'd buy these if they were made, unless somebody makes controllers with the jag-pad and the CX52 cord. They should also be operational in all four sockets. The CX52 has more buttons. Perhaps make it compatible with the standard controller but fully operational with the extended controlpad. I would not like Pause/Start/Reset to close to the action buttons. The extended pad would also be able to have every single button from the CX52 mapped.
