  1. Nice job! Definitely superior to the parker bros version.
  2. Just tried to play this via harmony cart on a heavy sixer. The title screen shows. Pressing the button causes the screen to change for a split second and then it returns to the title screen. Has anyone else had success playing this on a harmony cart?
  3. I also just played this for the first time recently, and then searched unsuccessfully for a manual. Was an instruction manual ever released with this game??
  4. I always wished Atari would have released the 800xl earlier (basically release it instead of the 1200xl), and also have released a cart compatible gaming system instead of the 5200 (the xegs was the right idea, but years too late...there should have been a xlgs back in 1982, 1983).
  5. What are the proprietary cheat codes?
  6. So....is the rom going to be released for Christmas, or are there still more approvals needed? (I bought the cart years ago, but for some odd technical reason it only works on my heavy sixer....on my light sixer and 4 switch, it just shows the atariage logo and plays the have you played Atari today jingle over and over...no way to advance. So I would love to be able to put it on my Harmony cart)
  7. Very nicely done! I never thought a bowling game on 2600 could be so addictive, but this definitely is. Just spent an hour trying to get over 200, but couldn't get higher than 190s...perhaps tomorrow.
  8. To whoever did the programming for the intro of the Stella's Stocking cart : If you're reading this, any chance you could release a .bin of it for use with emulators and Harmony cart? I'm talking about the fireplace and Christmas music, not the games of course.
  9. Big thank you for finally releasing this rom! I actually did buy the cart when it was first released years ago. It was a blast to finally get my hands on it after wanting it for over 30 years, from the first time I saw it in a coleco catalog as "coming soon". But it's really nice to also have it on my Harmony cart now.
  10. Much thanks for this! Enduro was by far the best racing game on 2600 in my opinion. Very glad to see it finally make it's way to the 8bit computers, which I always felt should have had some more (and better) racing games. GACCRR was pretty okay. Pole Position as well. And I did like Rally Speedway since it was similar to the Intellivision racing game, which was a favorite of mine to play at my friends house. But not too many others that I can think of. Always wanted to see Turbo (or a knock-off) come out for the 8bits.
  11. Alternate Reality - City more than Dungeon. Other top mentions - zombies, sea dragon, pharoahs curse, preppie, caverns of mars, dropzone.
  12. Didn't see Asteroids mentioned yet. It was fairly easy to fry it such that all the Asteroids were white instead of multi colored.
  13. $599?!? Curious to see what it actually sells for. I'd gladly sell my copy for a fraction of that!

    Fallpit!

I just finally got around to playing this. Very nice! I like it a lot.
  15. Light sixer, summer of 1980, for my 15th birthday. Had been hounding my parents for the past year or more and they finally gave in.
