  1. Another odd thing I have noticed (and sorry I can’t describe the exact locations), but there are one or two masks and at least one gem where, when they are grabbed, the player is kicked out of the game back to the title screen. Luckily there is an auto save feature and also manual backups which makes these occurrences just annoyances rather than game breakers as otherwise, I love this port.
  2. Bought a Jaguar just for Tempest 2000 as soon as it became available when it was launched (and I had the $$ to do so). I was working at Keystone Ski resort in Colorado and bought it from a small Atari shop just outside Denver, I don’t remember the name of the place but I can still picture driving there. All my initial Jag purchases were from that shop; pretty sure I picked up my CatBox and JagCD from there as well.
  3. Finally! Received this update this morning and after the update, game downloaded and installed perfectly via wireless.
  4. Many different types of connections and even fully wired/cabled end to end (wireless turned off), can’t get beyond %55. Giving up for the day and will try again tomorrow. Update - can also always tell when it is hung - during download, when working, fan kicks on and off in short bursts; when download is hung/stops, fan kicks on and doesn’t turn off
  5. Definitely something up with purchase and download. I have tried twice - both time said payment processed and took me to the download button. First time I tried to download, got bounced out to menu, tried to access the Featured Link and received ‘Something went wrong’, a few more tries and I was able to get back to purchase link. Second time i tried to purchase, received payment processed message, got download button, clicked to try to download and system froze up and had to hard reboot. 21 GB free space, so no idea what might be wrong. Update - Rather than option to buy, now have option to download, says only 4.27 GB, but after choosing where to download, bounces out to ‘Download’ again. I guess it will probably work eventually, lol.
  6. Although the graphic was the standard controller, to use my ‘newer version’ pro controller and the jag usb adaptor, I started by removing all the bindings it allowed me to remove (some said they had to have a bind and couldn’t remove) and then I started at the top of the list and one by one, added the appropriate controller binding. For those that ‘couldnt’ be removed, as I got to them while moving through the list, I was able to change them. Has been a great experience so far. Even some of the ST ports work also which has been awesome!
  7. May I be added to the list? I’m in for a pair (D-Pad on left). Thanks!
  8. I grabbed a couple of the classic joysticks pre-order and really like them. I’ve almost pulled the trigger on the console at $299 from the Atari site because after all, in essence, it’s just a small form factor PC that just happens to have some Atari branding on it (and all I see for sale anywhere else are the $399 bundles which I dont need). Is it maybe a little overpriced at even $299, perhaps, but I don’t think overly so, when seen as a PC and not a gaming console. I may yet pull the trigger for it though, if they are still around after a few more toys on the list are acquired and the various projects for the RaspPis I have kicking around are sorted out so hopefully it survives that long.
  9. What type of controller mode are you using the VCS joystick in Windows? I have it as a Bluetooth Gamepad (even though I have it plugged in via USB) and I’ve found it works really well in the latest version of Stella and (with some config adjustments) works great for Bally Astrocade emulation in Retroarch/Mame. The only thing a bit weird about how the joystick appears in Windows in this mode is that the built in paddle presents as a ‘Dial’ that ‘wraps around’.
  10. Have you tried this update to StellaDS? I like it quite a bit on the 3DS XL.
  11. Very interested! Just signed up on waitlist.
  12. Quick thanks @mytek for the pics of the monitor output for the converter. I have had that exact Sony monitor for a long time and always kept it around past its’ original use becuase I always liked it and thought it was a nice display (it came with a Sony computer package a long time ago which i still have but sits in the attic). I’ve tried a few different solutions for getting my 800xl to various monitors/screens but never wholly satisfied with any of them. Just grabbed that converter box off Amazon and hope to have the same experience you’ve shown.
  13. Looks great! Went over to Songbird and created an account to be ready for when this becomes available and just had to grab a few things during the wait. Will there be a JagGD locked rom available as well for those whose purchase the cart? Just curious.
  14. IMHO, Turtles and Killer Bees are cream of the crop for the O2. The Voice module does add a bit of something to both.
