  1. Glad it is new and never opened. That would be kinda gross.
  2. Shuttle Orbiter. I don't think it was brought out for anything but the 2600. Definitely have to read the manual.
  3. This is an amazing fun game. Was there ever a discussion on putting out a physical release with box and manual?
  4. Or make them become a subscriber. Bet they wouldn't pay the money to just to post and run.
  5. A friend in high school had one with the 5 speed and V6. One addition to the car made it possible to transport 3 people. Sunroof. We did that all the time. The smallest person, besides driver, had to take the middle. It was basically someone sitting awkwardly on the lap of the person in the passenger seat with added head room with the sunroof open. Winter wasn't fun but a ride is a ride. We didn't care if it was in the back of a truck either. Bundle up:)
  6. Is there a way to delete the saved scores? Just curious. It would be easy enough for someone to overwrite mine but I'm not letting go of my cart:) Also, I hope you will continue posting here. I don't use Facebook or any other social network site.
  7. Maybe the CX22 or CX80 on 8-bit could be used somehow? Maybe it does and I just missed something. I don’t have any idea about the effort or feasibility of making it work. Personally it is trak-ball or nothing for Tempest.
  8. I love the heavy sixer for sure but really haven’t used it much. I did find that some newer carts are a fairly tight fit. Don’t recall if that is normal or not. @ElijahI would go 6 switch all the way if possible. Heavy or light. Reason for that is if you want to play Space Shuttle (Activision) then the overlays will be much easier to use. Also, 6 is better than 4. But…..any is better than none:)
  9. Oh I want one of these:) The 7800 edition. Would or could that model be set up to act like a Genesis controller for two button games? I'm thinking specifically of the newish Lode Runner game for the 2600 that takes advantage of that functionality.
  10. Everyone has their favorite model. I'm probably in the minority. My favorite is the the 6 switch Tele-games version. At a flea market back around 2001 I picked up a light sixer CIB and near perfect condition for $15. Years later I got a sweet deal on a CIB heavy sixer that is near perfect as well. The "futuristic" silver and funky swirly woodgrain just speaks to me. As far as a daily driver goes the Jr. is my go to. Really wish there was an available custom 5200 mini out there:)
  11. No way I would cancel my order. There were a very large number of people that jumped on this because the games were no longer going to be available. Retro gaming is a hurry up and wait hobby. Still waiting on my order as well.
  12. The 5200 will never have the library of the 8-bits but it does still have some great home brews, conversions and original releases. I purchased every one that Ryan has released and will continue to purchase any new releases. Realsports Curling anyone? The 5200 has the controller issue for sure but there are modern controllers being made that help. Also, Trak-ball and Tempest. We just need to realize the pain we are putting ourselves through by giving a 5200 a home.
