  1. fantastic shanon (madmab) we finally reach the goal of having a true retro gaming museum (like "sega genesis ultimate collection" for ps3/360 but it has only 40 games, when we have all the games for all the systems, synopsis, boxarts, videos, game adds , manuals, etc...)!! we are completing the intro video with my girl now, using the after effect "cc cylinder" you can view the effect here: http://tutoriaux.mattrunks.com/tutoriaux/cylindres-3d-avec-vos-videos-et-photos-sous-after-effects the intro video will be usefull for the "memory eaters emus" like winuaeX, winstonX, neogenesis, X68000X, and dosxbox i think; and i noticed you can replace the "load_game_splash=gameload.jpg" with "load_game_splash=gameselect.jpg" and delete the gameload.jpg for the "memory eaters" emus, it will save you ~200 kb of graphics for them; plus more when i 'll finish the intro movie p.s.: xbox scene is down, i have difficulty to connect these days p.s.2: i know i asked before, but... how must i name the video intro? intro.xmv? and where must i put it? in the skin root? thanks in advance madmab p.s.3: i hope you will join sometimes in the irc chat, i spoke a lot with wimpyRBX, this man is awesome! with his scrappers knowledge, he has done the psx synopsis in ~2 hours! and he has screpped the nes tips and tricks database from gamefaqs and is able to do lot of incredible fast work see ya later mate
  2. Hello xbox fans, that's ok now, i have recorded my video in 4/3 so i could upload it to youtube without any stretching (sure the quality is lesser, but it s just to show you "what you can do with an xbox") I will upload as much vids as i can to create buzz arround you, all the cool things you can do with an xbox: - emu center - arcade cab - media center - etc...
  3. no it's ok madsmab updated now, have you tryed them? rumbles for nes genesis ans snes (14 december 09).rar in this pack you will find a "codelist.inf" for nes (mednafenX nes) and genesis (neogenesis) simply put the file in the emu root and you will have access to the rumbles database in the "cheat code" menu (if you are a lucky owner of the future "madmab edition" neogenesis for snes i have included the rumbles for zsnexbox, for this one it is different, you have to put the rumbles files in the "rumble" folder of zsnexbox and the rom name (ex "contra III.zip") must match the .rmb file (ex "contra III.rmb") if it match, you will have rumbles for each emu (madmab editions ones or nes6502 zsnexbox) YOU CAN always adjust each rumble separetly (adjusting the motors strenght and duration, or desactivate one rumble (so don't complain if one rumble is too strong for your own tastes  ) so far i have done: - various rumbles for ~100 of the major snes games - various rumbles for 85 genesis games - various rumbles for ~ 100 nes games you will notice i have created ALSO the rumbles for BOTH 1player and 2player (it is always better to play nes, genesis or snes with a pal) p.s.: all the rumbles i created are "stable" i mean they are created by a mathematically decreasing or increasing value (i haven't found them by luck or randomly searching with blind eyes) It is just a nice addition, so simply enjoy them or desactivate them  (it is a bonus)
  4. Having rumbles for our old classic games is now possible thanks to the xbox 1 (perheaps you have already try this feature with zsnexbox and the many rumbles i have created for >100 snes games) Now with the Madmab editions emus a nice addition has appeared (maybe you have noticed it in the new mednafenx nes beta): it is the "custom cheat database", when you are in the in game option menu and enter the "cheat code" menu, you can access the "search custom cheat database" and inside this list are all the rumbles available for the nes games. I'm in the process of completing as much stable rumbles codes for the major system now: nes, genesis, pc engine, atari 7800, snes, master system. imagine playing double dragon 2 on the nes and "feeling" each uppercut on the vilain's ugly face or feel the power each time billy or jimmy is being hit! yeah, the rumbles are really bringing a new experience to discover again your old classics coming soon: all the custom database for each emu, basically you will just have to put this file in the emu root, and all the rumbles will be accessible via the cheat code menu p.s.: oh and for the one who doesn't like rumbles at all, don't forget you are lucky and madmab always let you the possibility to activate/desactivate each rumble separetly and also you can always adjust each rumble (motor strenght and duration)
  5. Update with wonderswan and chip8 now covered for full dual stuff support
  6. Major update of them all, with the updated spash screen, best system pic in the main menu (when i found a better one ), system specific previews most of the time, updated backgrounds, and updated "ready to play" pre made configs, made your choice!
  7. DYNAMIC mednafenX nes PMIII skin (26 jully 09) Final skin (now the "enhanced help screen" looks better in both sdtv and hdtv mode, for an upscaled 640*480 pic, it can't be any much better now) It has correct synopsis.jpg background too, and the banner nbr 14 was erased in the previous skin i don't know why. So nothing major, but now, IT IS THE TRUE FINAL DYNAMIC NES SKIN
  8. i have repack the MednafenX nes Dynamic skin i have this time spent a lot of time to adjust each element of the 4-3 settings "pixels perfect" (sprites correctly aligned with the backgrounds, text correctly adjusted in each pixels, and same thing for the "in game option screenshot" for each settings). All is well better centered now B) And.. all the settings will now show the splash screen for 4 seconds (wich i think is the best -not too long- -not too short-) instead of 2.5 sec. And now, the previews appears in the correct ratio in both 4/3 and 16/9 settings These "pre made configs" must be perfect you know, because i'll have to copy/paste them to the others Dynamic skins!
  9. Yeah Madmab, it's the perfect option, it will save the day for multiple emus like Xboyadvance/neogenesis/mekax/atarixlbox/etc... The pixel ratio is different for each emulated system; it will save the time to modify the screen config for each new game! And... it will be usefull for those who have both sd and hdtv ; the pixels are - triple-sized - to appear correctly, so again, it's a new screen config to do. Your system will save us lot of time spending configuring the "in game screen" - cool -
  10. EDIT! All will be fixed soon! (Always take the latest versions please)
  11. Ok madmab, all the 4 in 1 pics are presents in the "backgrounds" folder of each skin and is named "preview". With the hope we could see "skin previews" (like in zsnexbox) in the future. But ideally the previews in zsnexbox are 320*240 pics (to save memory i suppose)? I have to update all the dynamic skins by today or tomorrow to "really merge my work with ressX on them. Some little bugs/ settings errors for the moment. All will be ok tomorrow
  12. A lot of skins have been updated and ... a new skin for intellevision! Dynamic skins thread
  13. It seems in one of the older dynamic atari 7800X skins the bg music wasn't played, strange because ressurectionX has the same problem. For the X68000X skin, there was a "memory issue" problem All i can say is: download the updated pack with all the 22 dynamic skins in it i have released yesterday (130 megs download) You will have all the dynamic skins in they last versions, I have kicked the ass of a lot of "little" but annoying bugs. (especially for the "memory eaters" emus). For the blissX emu i could re-create a dynamic skin for it... if you have some good quality pics of the system itself :D Good to see you are enjoying the dynamic skins, they will be even better used with the new madmab edition emus and the ressurectionXtras
