  1. Between Star Raiders, Star Master, Star Voyager how do we find out for sure? My memory says it is probably Star Master would be the right guess.
  2. I remember there was a game where your view was from the ship (like a pilot) you traveled from place to place and ships would engage your ship. you would have to watch your fuel level, and approching enemy ships etc.. it was a hot game about 1983/4. Any ideas what that game might be called?
  3. I have a couple of games for my Atari 2600. The REACTOR, E.T., and DRAGSTER games. Does anyone know how this game is played???
  4. Well, CF you were right! The setup on my TV is switched to sat/cable for TV input and that was the problem. Though in my situation my menu button would not allow me to change this function, so... I just picked up a ten dollar junk tv. Now other than a little bit fuzzy everything works. Thanks
  5. First I checked the back of the game console. There on the back was a spot marked A/B channel select. This was as I found out was a bogus switch that no longer existed, so then I went back to the side and did as you suggested with the channel 2/3 switch. Still nothing Then I checked the Manueal tv/game switch box and tried switching it back and forth. nothing. Though did get more a hint of what I thought would be something when I touched the RF cord to the outside of the tv/game switch box. But that was all. The RF cord which is connected inside the guts of the console. But inside the one console that I did clean, the RF cord inside just pulls off easy and attaches easy as if It could have been mounted outside the console.
  6. Sorry for the confusion with the power cord. Even so, what you described did not change anything regarding the picture.
  7. Both my husband and I are Atari 2600 fan's from when we were young. We decided to get back into the old systems and not only located one in our parents storage, but ebayed for one that had extra games with it. We tried both and neither one works. We used the following to connect. Atari power cord to game, game power cord to manual tv/game switch box (have switch to game), connected that to the 300/75ohm transformer to the coaxial on back of tv. Inserted game/ turned on game power switch and got (nothing!) Tried switching tv stations and game box stations, different tv/game switches boxes, different atari power cords, switching tv's, switching different games, tried also not connecting the cable at all and switching cable to the tv/game box, I dont believe both would not be working. I have read about the cleaning, but in those cases dont they have some sign of life that they are working at all?
