  1. Methinks I'm going to have to map it out, like I did in Dungeon Master and The Bards Tale. Yeah, I'm going to have to track down some graph paper! Takes me back to the days I spent charting my path through the labrynths of the original Phantasy Star on the Master System...
  2. Too...busy...playing... Me too! Gameplay and menu navigation are gradually becoming second nature and now my main challenge is trying not to get lost in these massive dungeons
  3. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I only have a Lynx 1 as well. I can insert the game, door still on, without any trouble. As for removing the card, it can be gently wiggled free with small pliers gripping only the upper corners of the EPROM. To prevent damage to the card or label, I've placed a small tab of electrical tape on each corner where the pliers will grip. The tape also prevents any electrical transfer from the metal pliers that could fry the game. So far this has worked out fine for me and I haven't needed to remove the door. Just a suggestion of how I got around this issue without modifying my Lynx, but if you're not extremely careful it could damage the game or scratch up the console so try it at your own risk.
  4. Great game and worth the wait but I must warn original Lynx owners that the card, if inserted too firmly into a Lynx 1, is extremely difficult to remove since the game port cover cannot open wide enough to accommodate your fingers. I had to use pliers and the utmost of care to free the card without scuffing or scratching the game or console. Lesson learned, from now on I'll insert the card only as far as it needs to boot. Long story short, if you're playing this on a Lynx 1 be extra gentle, don't push the cart in any further than you need to and you shouldn't have any problems.
  5. Just got my copy!! Took some pics but can't seem to post them from my iPhone... Thanks a million, Eric! You are a saint
  6. Still intend to buy, but decided to upgrade to a boxed copy following your price reduction! Could you send me an email once everything is finalized so we can settle up?
  7. I'm the "guy" Not an eBay glitch in this case. Each bid was just an increase in my maximum bid- perhaps eBay hides that info from you. I've been burned one too many times by someone swooping in at the last second and outbidding me, so raising my max a few times was kind of an insurance policy.
  8. I'll go for one copy of the regular edition.
