  1. Hey, take it easy there! It was only one guy on the internet. I never put myself up as a legal expert. I honestly thought that was how French copyright worked. It seems I was wrong. But please correct me without being condescending to me, eh? I don't know how "feelings" even came into it for you (although it strikes me as rather a passive-aggressive put down). I admit my original post was curt, though. Sorry for that! I'll stay out of this now. Oh yeah, I still think taking a snap of La Gioconda is a very odd thing to do. If people don't believe you've seen it, so what? I wouldn't care...
  2. Why can't I post to this board properly? (That's rhetorical, OK?)
  3. Bad example. The Mona Lisa, being really old, is in the public domain. Your photo is a copy of something that is in the public domain, and so is therefore in the public domain itself. You do not own the copyright on your photograph. Also, why on earth would someone photograph the Mona Lisa?
  4. And of course, there's CX-2600, the lovely Atari VCS console.
  5. (Emphasis is mine) Can you tell me what the above means? I've tried a gooogley-woog, but all I get is results about pizza. Thanks.
  6. Sounds promising. Hannacek already mentioned that you may have a "heavy sixer". I can perhaps be seen in the tell-tale curved lip on the front of the case (not sure). If you didn't know, that is a relatively uncommon version of the 2600. Something to think about before you attempt any mods, maybe. Definitely try a VCR or another display next.
  7. I too would like to know the answer to this!
  8. Yeah I'm glad I never junked my VCR from BitD. It's from the period when the last VCRs were being designed, and handles any old console or computer that I might plug in and display on my LCD.
  9. In the United Kingdom the charges can be very high. In fact, I would order stuff from eg. AtariAge but the excessive extras for customs, VAT, etc. put me right off. I'm all in favour of paying my due taxes, but it just makes AA and certain other, usually US-based, vendors unaffordable.
  10. Warms the cockles of my heart.
  11. I bought two second-hand Driving Controllers last week and they both had Amp connectors. I like them.
  12. I can confirm it is possible. Dig Dug's duophonic music sounded way off when it happened to me (UK PAL).
