  1. Is it worth buying and taking a risk? Is it repairable?
  2. It's very far away from me so I have no.idea. of I get them to test it then it might let the cat out of the bag and price might skyrocket. Not sure what to do.
  3. I appreciate the replies. The original 800 is just such a cool piece of design. Part of me really wants one while another part of me thinks I should just get a modded xbox with a ton of emulators and run off that. I just keep thinking that any computer games I want should be off the original hardware just in case the keyboard is needed. I did find a 1200 but it won't get passed the rainbow page. Does that sound dead? (For some reason a 1200 is very cool to me also).
  4. I really appreciate the reply. Who do I bug to see if I can talk them into considering it?
  5. I'm wanting to get an Atari 8 bit computer and would love an original 800 for the super cool factor. I understand the incognito board made them fully compatible across the 8 bit range. Does anybody know if there will ever be another run of them? Thank you.
  6. Hey there I wanted to get an ST computer for my collection that I can use. I have an.option to buy a stacy 4 for possibly a good price but I'm not sure the blue screen will not drive me crazy. Is it very compatible with most software? Can it hook up to component or composite monitors? I have a feeling I'll want to replace the lcd with a spliced in color screen....what are they worth? Thank you!
  7. Can anybody tell me the resistor values and which buttons they need to go on?
  8. So that's on every button? As in direction and fire? Will it work normally on a 2600?
  9. I was looking at getting some arcade control parts and building a controller for 2600/7800. Does this mean I can just do the build and not worry about the resistors and diode?
  10. i dont want it for the st, i want it for missle command on my 2600 or 7800.
  11. i found an atari st wico trackball for sale. it has two toggle switches on the front. i have no idea what they are for but was wanting to know if it would work with an atari 2600?
  12. hey folks i found a wico trackball for the st. it has two mettal toggle switches on the front. i have no idea if they are factory or not. will this thing work on the 2600?
