  1. I do gaming and retro computer type content. clean editing. collection vids, showing retro tech stuff, pick up videos. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxffeKbZ_EwzoLe2146Mhfw
  2. That's me! Thanks for the share. I'm glad you liked it.
  3. The script refers to it as a "Pirate Eye" Eyepiece. A google of that will find some modern equivalents such as this http://www.fpvhobby.com/184-pirate-eye-lcd-goggle.html. Other sites call it a monocular FPV or HUD. As far as the one in the movie, I have never been able to find any trace of it online. I've looked a lot for it. They custom made quite a few things in the movie. So, it could just be a prop.
  4. Hi all, A few weeks ago I made a video on opening the case and pulling the old battery on an Apple IIgs. I figured I would post it here in case it would be of help to anyone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVPuUkBGMhs Have a great day!
  5. I feel like they got these Jag molds, however they did. And decided AFTER that to do the RetroVGS. It sounds great in theory, but it just is not happening. They cost is getting too high, people are backing out, etc.
  6. I am the only one who dislikes these slideshow type setups on webpages for top10 lists? Just list it all on one page!
  7. i'm into emulators and ROMs, but never patching them. how does one go about doing this?
  8. Just for closure, I found an old floppy at my house, and found that second game i was looking for, the vertical shooter. It's called Stellar Warrior, it's simple game, but fun. It's on a pack of game called Fun Pack 2 by Wizard Works. http://www.download-central.ws/Win16/Games/S/Stellar-Warrior/
  9. Is the game called Battle Bugs? I would be amazed if that was it, as I was working at Sierra at the time when that was released... and nobody bought that game! My god, that is the one!!!! thank you so much! There have always been 2 games I liked a lot that I could never remember the names for. That is one of them. Thank you!!!!! Unfortunately, the other was a very generic vertical scrolling space shooter that came in a pack with other small windows games. But, it's great you were able to ID that game for me, thanks again!
  10. Nice! I have not watched the video yet. Do you by chance have the demo disks that came with these? I know this is a long shot, but i had an issue of PC Gamer, and it had this game that had different armies of insects fighting, it was like a strategy game. I really liked the game, but the name has escaped me for years now. I think the game was from around 94-95, as i still had windows 3.1 and couldn't upgrade to 95 yet. thanks!
  11. That lot is worth $100+. I could see a re-seller dropping $100-$150 for the lot, in a store setting they would make it all back plus more. from the stores locally here, here's what i've seen those games go for, roughly. darkwing duck $10 adventure island 1,2 $8, $12 castlevania 1,2,3 (2 has box, and i believe the booklet) $10, $8, $15 tmnt 1,2,3 (1 has box and booklet) $12, $10, $12 kirbys adventure $20 ninja gaiden 1,2,3 $12, $12, $20 megaman 2,3 $18, $14 contra $10 super c $10 final fantasy $15 battletoads/double dragon (nes version not snes) $30 battletoads(with box and book in perfect condition) $12 bubblebobble $20 monopoly(with box and booklet) $5 tecmobowl(withbox and booklet) $4 punchout(mr dream)(with box/inserts) $12 the little mermaid(with box) $10 bible adventures(with box and booklet) $20 tetris1,2(both with box and booklet) $3, $6 yoshi(with box and booklet) $7 caesars palace(with box and booklet) $6 keep in mind, these are all in a store setting. they be less on craigslist, ebay could go either way.
  12. I have 2 x-arcade 2 player tank-sticks. I have the non-trackball version on my MAME cab, and the one with the trackball for use with my computer or consoles once i get the adapters. they're great products, very well made. i just wish they had a real spinner on them.
  13. KB Toys had a few NES games very late on. I remember buying Classic Series Legend of Zelda, Zelda II, Metroid, and Punchout. Also, Startropics, Zoda's Revenge, Mega Man 6, Kirby's Adventure, and Wario's Woods. All were $19.99, and they were the only NES games they had. It was around 1996/1997.
