  1. I just got my 5200, totally psyched up to play it (never owned one before, lushgirl_80 would be so proud ^_-). Anyway, I got 2 of the standard 5200 controllers and the left side fire button(s) do not work - on either controller. I can't play Centipede or Missile Command but I can play Kangaroo and RealSports Tennis because those apparently utilize the right top fire button. Any idea what's wrong with the controllers, could it be the console's controller ports? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I want to see Mr. Morden's head on a pole, and every time I pass it I'll wave at it.

  3. I love my Game Boy Player (just imagine what a library that opens: original Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance titles (from Japan too)!), it along with my Wavebird are two of the biggest reasons my Gamecube is my favorite console.
  4. Thanks for the suggestions. Hmmm...I think it's due time I check out Golden Sun since I have never played it.
  5. "Karnov originally starred in his own arcade name (titled Karnov) which was developed and published by Data East in 1987. He later became Data East's mascot, appearing in many other Data East games including Bad Dudes Vs. DragonNinja in which he played a boss in the first level. Karnov later appeared in the Fighter's History series" From - http://www.fightersg...rs4/karnov.html I am sure, like any character, different artists have different interpretations of Karnov.

I spent to much time playing Bad Dudes vs DragonNinja in my youth.

  7. Out of respect for the AA Community at large I did not start a thread in Classic Gaming, instead I am asking through my much less intrusive blog. Starting tonight I am working 7 12 hour nights straight. I was hoping you guys could recommend a game or two to keep me interested for 7 nights. Obviously I don't have consoles here at work but I do have my laptop set up with several emulators: NES, SNES, GBA, Genesis, 2600, 5200, 7800, Lynx, WonderSwan, and Aquarius. Hoping you guys see this post and can throw some ideas my way.
  8. My big issue with Karnov is that he tried to kill the Bad Dudes. I can't come up with an "ABSOLUTE worst game ever". I can find some redeeming quality in most games and besides the game programmers are doing a lot better job than I could ever do.

  11. Blackjack or Casino's Blackjack. I just find playing a few hands of blackjack relaxing and it's a break from shooting stuff. Speaking of shooting stuff - I just checked out Metroid 2600, great job!
  12. I know Digimon Battle Spirit I & II were made for the GBA as well as Digimon Racing but I have never heard of these Digimon games until tonight: DIgimon Sapphire (a platformer) - eBay Auction -- Item Number: 110959409307 Digimon Rury (I am sure it's supposed to be Ruby) (an RPG) - eBay Auction -- Item Number: 110959396376 I did a search and from what I can tell is that they originated in China. Anybody ever played or heard of these or anything similar?
