Trying to bankswitch ... having troubles

A conundrum here ...

 

I am wanting to use a bankswitched ROM for my Sky Scraper game, and stick the title screen code in the very last bank (bank 32).

 

When I do this, and use the gosub titlescreen bank32 and finish the routine with return otherbank ... I try to compile, and get a graphics overrun in bank 0.  What am I doing wrong?

Sky Scraper title screen troubles

Having some problems:

 

I have implemented a title screen ... however, when I hit the fire button to bypass it, the level loads, but my man keeps falling to his death ad infinitum.  Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

 

 


Non-functioning 130XE ... scavenge for parts?

I have an Atari 130XE computer which does not work ... it doesn't turn on properly with the power adapter I have ... red screen.

 

I do also have a Atari 1200XL which is currently up and running.  Is there any way that I can take the extra ram from my 130XE and add it to my 1200XL?

 

Alternatively, can the POKEY chip be harvested from the 130XE and soldered to the 1200XL for dual POKEY?  Is the POKEY seated or soldered on the 130XE?


Atari ST or Amiga Mouse on 7800. Possible?

I am thinking of writing a game on 7800 which would use the Atari ST or Amiga Mouse as a pointer.  Would this be doable?

 

I found all this information for using such mice on the Atari 8-bit:

The other question is, would both mouse buttons be readable?
