  1. Back to the Future and the Walking Dead are very good. Back to the Future was more of a point and click adventure than the Walking Dead "choose your own adventure style". I have not played Jurassic Park.

I notice hand cramps when playing MegaMan X on Snes. The buttons are a little close to hold it like a standard snes controller, but with some work you can find a position that helps.

I would upgrade if they offically went Dingux out of the box on it. Installing the Dingux loader is such a trivial thing. Having the OS run off the SD card also saves you from potentially bricking the device with simple OS updates. I feel if the official OS was Dingux there would be vast improvements to it. It would maybe even get tv out working in dingux.

I have not played with the 7800 emu on it in a while, but if I remember right I also used it to play the 2600 roms with out issue. For anyone looking for a better SNES emulator. I would suggest installing Dingux on it. SNES plays great other than the odd game using a customer chip.
  6. My bad it seems it is for the EUR NES. Since Camerica still lacked license to produce NES games, they had to create their own cartridges that would bypass Nintendo's lock-out chip. Like the circuit used in Color Dreams cartridges, the Camerica lock-out defeat generated glitch pulses that froze the chip. The cartridges they made were shaped slightly differently from Nintendo's cartridges, though they still fit in the NES. The most notable difference however was in color: all Camerica cartridges were gold and later silver. They also featured a switch for play on European NES consoles. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camerica
  7. I picked up a odd looking gold NES game a few weeks back at the thrift shop. I never had really heard about it "The Ultimate Stuntman"... From playing it, I could have been just as happy never hearing about it... Anyway it has a switch on the back of the cart See here http://twitpic.com/zaurr (Sorry phone pic). I have looked on google and it seems to get around some NES license issue. Is this just a matter of them installing a switch that made it not play on a NES and saying the customer had to switch it to be able to play on a NES? Can anyone explain how this helped to get by license issues, or was it just a horrible attempt to get by them and Camerica ended up getting burned in the end?
  8. I would actually be interested in knowing this also. I have been playing with the idea of replacing all my console systems for a PC. I have used freevo in the past to play everything up to a Neo-Geo, but It would be nice to still collect all the systems and games, but only need a small quiet PC with usb game pads for playing them on the tv. Looking over most of the emu's for it I can find, they are still pretty buggy and not really going to replace the need for a console version anytime soon.

The 7800 emu works great for me. I used it on 2600 roms also with no issue.

In case anyone is interested there has been a unofficial update to the Sega Genesis emulator for the native Dingoo OS. Removes a lot of the issues from the last one.

I am hoping for a update the snes emu and a 2600 emu that works on the standard Dingoo firmware. Snes emulation is not horrible, mind you it does have some issues. But is completely playable for most games.

I am pretty sure it comes with some sample mp4's installed on it that worked for me. Yes a 2600 emu would rock! I really hope some more homebrew emulators start to come out for the dingoo os, but I have a feeling the linux booting will turn into the standard and most stuff will run under it.

I dont see any emu updates on the offical site? Are you talking about custom firmware?
  15. Thats pretty cool, but I would still rather use the standard controller.
