  3. thanks guys im sorted now. and now i play the waiting game
  4. yeah i do not have a VCR unfortunately.
  5. You will need to mod your console to use those kinds of connectors. As mentioned in another post, there may be people on these forums that sell kits to make your life easier. Others can do the mod for you for a fee. You can also search the forums or google to find guides to do it yourself. I'm pretty sure you can get most of the parts from radio shack. Whether you use a guide or get a kit, you will need to use a soldering iron. It's not that bad. My first AV mod was on a colecovision, and if you got some old electronics around, you can practice with the iron before you set out to work on your 2600. cool, im ok with the soldering iron. ive done a google search and have not had any luck - if anyeon could point me in the right direction that would be cool. sorry for being such a newbie. i really want to set up my woody using RCA that would be awesome. Cheers for the help so far guys.. ill keep hunting.
  6. oh, that blows... would be cool if you could buy a converter or something that was seperate to the atari console...
  7. ok.. come on guys, i reeeeeeeeeely would love one of these connectors. would save the day.
  8. seriously, just grab a USA console if your games do not work, then get a power adaptor from jaycar or dick smith or something... and its AOK!
  9. pureley personal i reckon mate. my favourite is the woody 6 switcher..
  10. depends on the games... i purchased a load of them from USA ebay and only about 5 carts worked... lucky for the one of the carts was a 4 in 1 and the other was a 32 games in 1! some of them had a big black line across the bottom and funny colours. others did nothing at all. bassed on my experience i would say that its less than 50% chance.. just buy a NTSC console and a power adaptor and you can play the other games no stress.
  11. yeah, ive got USA carts that work on my Australian 2600 console, not all of them do though they are NTSC we use PAL in Australia. all of the consoles from the USA have different power too...
  12. sorry for all the silly noob speak... i hope you can understand what mean.
  13. I want it to be able to plug into the AV connectors at the back of my TV, like my NES connector with the RCA ends like this: (minus the SVGA)
  14. just thinking about it... its a bit of a silly question - but i reckon it would be awesome if someone made these, it would make life easier for us with newschool TVs and im over tuning the TV
