Gaming wise, I've found myself less interested in gaming and more interested in learning how computers work at a deeper level. This has me gravitating more towards the old 8 bit computers. This is out of the want to one day build my own 8 bit microcomputer and to understand how electronics and circuitry work.
When it comes to purchases, they've been to support the above. Most of what I've been getting lately is after market upgrades (SIDE3, USB Keyboard and U1MB) to make the XE work how I want it to. If I buy any games, it would be to support homebrew for the A8, 5200, Jaguar or 2600.
I think the last time I was in a gaming store they had none of anything I wanted. Really they don't... Ever. I ask for Neo Geo or Atari Jaguar.
