You are a generous co-worker. Someone is very lucky to get that gift!

  2. The FM Towns Marty was the first 32 bit game console and.. it used a 386. ?
  3. Ok. Wanted to make sure. I saw here.. Which I think is what I have sent to JLCPCB, right? I saw the last commit say, " Add FFC connector - 130MX Rev C RC2 ". Wanted to make sure before I ordered. ? https://github.com/bleroy/3d-junkyard/blob/main/Atari130MX/Atari130MX.pro
  4. Gaming wise, I've found myself less interested in gaming and more interested in learning how computers work at a deeper level. This has me gravitating more towards the old 8 bit computers. This is out of the want to one day build my own 8 bit microcomputer and to understand how electronics and circuitry work. When it comes to purchases, they've been to support the above. Most of what I've been getting lately is after market upgrades (SIDE3, USB Keyboard and U1MB) to make the XE work how I want it to. If I buy any games, it would be to support homebrew for the A8, 5200, Jaguar or 2600. I think the last time I was in a gaming store they had none of anything I wanted. Really they don't... Ever. I ask for Neo Geo or Atari Jaguar.
  5. Hi @ScreamingAtTheRadio! Is Rev D ready yet? I know you had some finishing touches you were putting on it. I'm thinking about ordering and building a board myself, but wanted to wait until you had all the changes you wanted to put in. ?
  6. Seems like the average file size is around 22k. Does anyone know the breakdown as far as how much of the filesize is the viewing application vs the converted image?
  7. Ok. That definitely puts a nail in it for me. I'll stay with stock video. ? My apologies that my question started such a firestorm. Didn't intend for that.
  8. That and do I 100% need to have a monitor that supports 15Khz to be able to use this?
  9. By RGB, you'd mean I'd need one of these to convert to HDMI? (Component video to HDMI) https://www.amazon.com/Portta-N3CVRHP-Component-Converter-support/dp/B003VJ9RP6/?th=1 Or am I mixing up my video connection types again?
  10. Isn't that how it always is with every personal coding project? ?
  11. I actually asked partly because of the above. I had dug a little into the threads and saw what was talked about when it came to problems with NTSC palette and didn't know if that was still a thing and if it was with everyone or if the VBXE was only for people with PAL systems. Looking at a lot of the cool demos on youtube, I am interested, yet.. I didn't know how much support there was for it and what kinds of applications were developed for it. ?
