  1. Basicly gather any info off the forums and create pages for each topic that was resolved and explained. Such as troubleshooting and other questions that maybe helpful. Basicly do this in a fast endeavor to gather and format this information so it's posted quickly as its brought together. Not a slow update over a year or years. This is too ensure the resource actualy recievces some updates in a timely fashion. To update the site; you would place the pages in the correct area of the site, like folder and what not. Basic HTML pages is all thats required. Then provide links to that page, usualy one link is all that will be needed. This would be by an FTP acount, and notifiy me of the updates so I can backup them up locally. I'd have to inform and request a 2nd FTP acount from Dale if he can provide one.
  2. I decided to login after reading this about the resource I didn't know it had value, so .... Hey, NIAD's correct, I got no help in getting help to maintain the site/resource. Although I have made a few updates over I think 4 months ago, maybe less. Adamcon.org hosts the resource and I guess the whole server was down, hence why the resource was down. I belive Dale intends to host it "forever", he also has a backup of the site aswell as I. Its up again last I checked. My intentions where to update the site given all these forum posts of material and collect it all and post information on the resource in seperate pages. But that stopped awhile ago. I didn't want to overshadow what NIAD was doing and end up with duplicate material in differant format, so to say. So I was going to use NIAD's archives to update the site, which I did use to make the site in the first place, but an older copy that I actualy helpped produce but NIAD and I think Joe B. provided most of the material and orgnization. I just havn't had time to maintain the resource with any updates NIAD has improved upon or anyone else. I lent the resource sites info to a few ADAM and Coleco sites so they can cherry pick from it.... If your intrested in helping with the adam resource site then eventualy take it over afterwards (I'd like to help the person that wants to help first before I leave it) Please say so here and explain how you would help out to update the site fast, fast is required tho, alot of info needs to be updated quickly and swiftly. Any questions can be made here as well. Thanks. -Mark
  3. Doesn't look like the new plate/logo is on the box image yet.... Sorry, I thought I'd specified that... Allow me to post again in order. In addition, here is the bottom-side of the packaging in the last attachment. Here we have each side: bottom, top, long side and short side. It looks like the short side posts to seem larger (in perspective) than the other sides, but it is 6x5".
  4. The image of ghostblaster looks like a frame from "The Real Ghostbuster's" Cartoon from the 80's...
  5. http://www.theadamre...l/JeffCVExp.htm by Jeff Frohwein. Make ColecoVision Cartridges - Technical specifications on the ColecoVision hardware and A system to allow you to upload code to a ColecoVision using the Joystick as a joystick, plus more... I'm guessing the momentary switch on the left side of the controller is probably a RESET switch, or to cycle through options.
  6. I have an article on ADAM Resource some place about inputing instructions via the controller port. Maybe thats what it might be doing. I'll have to locate that article.
  7. If you narrowed it down to not being the CV controller IC's, meaning you have working controllers that actual work properly, you may want to give this a read: http://www.theadamresource.com/manuals/Modifications/Fixing%20a%20Standard%20ColecoVision%20Controller.htm
  8. Back in the day, I had to buy a C64 custom power supply, cause the brick died, probably over heated. Anyways the new custom power supply was a dream, nicely incased in a Vented metal case. I just don't under stand why Coleco didn't sell there improved brick for us customers, where the cord extend out both sides of the adapter and vented and servicable. (not that the old bricks can't be fixed as we all know, just got to crack open the case).
  9. Hmm, he stated a "colecovision power supply" but who knows, need a closer look at that label on it.
  10. Looks like those CBS pal units had better power supplys- vented.
  11. I believe Dale W said he's working on a USB type drive, or at-least the software to drive it. Mentioned in the CV/ADAM Mailing list.
  12. If you search the forum for secam and or pal there's links to these mods. actually I have time, http://gamesx.com/wiki/doku.php?do=show&id=av:cbs_coleco http://www.nightfallcrew.com/?p=1660
  13. Well the sound is lifted directly from the sound chip with Ben Heck's mod, there fore it bypasses the RF Board sound. Check to make sure the two connections to the snd chip are not touching. The Video is lifted from the RF board, so if there's a problem with the RF board for video, it will happen with the mod too. BUT, I think you said both CV's have the same video problem so I'm not sure whats wrong. That power switch that you said moved around creates artifacts and blackens the screen, I'm pretty sure that's not related. So I don't think I can help any further, unless there's something near the tv interfering or the power supply is plugged into a noisy power outlet. Maybe move to a different room tv and cv and see what happens. Don't have the controllers plugged in just in case.
  14. So you can see them through the RF cable. Was this before you added the mod? or only after the mod was added?
