  1. First up is a Macintosh 9600/200. working and in cosmetically decent condition with a few scuffs and scratches but not too much yellowing. has 6 PCI slots making it the most expandable classic Mac. I had it running fine with OS 8 but I did remove the hard drive so you're getting just the computer, no hard drive, mouse, or keyboard. has the 200mhz power PC CPU, 96MB of RAM (capable of 1.5GB total memory), and a twin-turbo video card. $100 local pickup only, I'm located in Apache Junction, AZ but it may be possible to arrange meeting up someplace closer to Tempe/Mesa/Chandler area Next up is a fully working Tandy 1000EX. The Tandy is boxed but comes with no documentation, the CM-5 RGB monitor is unboxed. both are tested and working fine. 1000EX is in great cosmetic condition and comes with a modem card and official memory/DMA controller PLUS card maxing the memory to 640k and adding DMA support. CPU is an 8088 running at 7MHz downclockable to 4.77MHz. does not come with any software so you'll need DOS on a 5 1/4 floppy to get very far or I hear they make compact flash HDD PLUS cards now, so there's that. floppy drive tested working as well as internal sound/speaker. CM-5 RGB monitor works fine but is cosmetically a bit beat up with scuffs, scratches (not on the screen), and some yellowing but seems to display fine. The bezel door on the monitor has a broken thing so It will stay on but is prone to fall off. Probably fixable with the baking soda/super glue trick or a 3D-printed replacement. $300 local pickup only - I'm in Apache Junction, AZ but I may be able to meetup in the Tempe/Mesa/Chandler area if that works better.
  2. Received this as part of a trade but just couldn't get into it. SOLD
  3. Is the starfighter different or superior in some way to any other i740 based card?
  4. BSR 386SX/16 vintage desktop computer. This computer is tested working but please read details below before buying! specs: CPU is a intel 386SX @ 16MHz, 4MB of memory, Intel 387 math co processor, built-inCirrus Logic "Eagle II" video chip. MAD16 16-bit ISA sound card. 1.2MB 5 1/4 floppy drive & 1.44 3.5 inch floppy drive. Seagate 107MB hard drive. Pc does boot to hard drive. floppy drives and sound card tested working. the things that don't work *please read* This machine has a built in BUS mouse port but I do not own a BUS mouse to test so mouse functionality is unknown. I loaded CTMOUSE drivers and they did detect when I attached a serial mouse but the mouse did not function. Motherboard uses an external battery for the CMOS, this battery is DEAD so it will either need replaced or you will have to setup the hard drive and floppy drives each time you power this PC up. PC has a habit of restarting itself when it encounters any kind of error, not sure what causes this but I spend several hours with the machine and it only did this once or twice when I was running benchmarking programs but being this is pretty old vintage hardware I can make no guarantees. Could be related to dead CMOS battery $200 shipped, if your local to Phoenix, AZ and can do local pickup I can cut you a discount.
  5. So Recently acquired Terra Onion SSDS3 and I know it does not do save states but does save in game saves directly to the SD card. Anyways after playing Castlvania Rondo of Blood it seems to of saved my game progress just fine but then when I played Neo Nectaris and went to save I got a "not enough system memory" error. Am I missing something here?
  6. I think there is an ultimate 1541 II+ now but not sure what the difference with the + is. BTW is this sold or still available?
  7. gageing interest here. I have a Dell Optiplex GX110 with a 1ghz Pentium 3. would make a great Windows 9x machine for someone without much desk space. has 2 PCI slots built in audio and video & 512mb of PC100 SDRAM, also comes with a MX400 PCI card which I think is a Geforce 2 varient I'll have some photos up later hopefully if anyone is interested. Its small but will probably be around 30-40 dollars shipped in the lower 48. I'm thinking maybe $60 shipped
  8. do you have a FDS shell in that box of parts? I just need a half decent looking FDS and I don't care if its working or has guts inside even.
  9. You know, PCI socket 3 motherboards are quite sought after by the vintage PC community. i'm supprised these arnt selling. If money was better or shipping wasnt so bad Id snatch a couple up myself.
