  1. Since the dumped code works on a Finalgrom99 and can be programmed into a 2764, the dump must be the result of passing the original code through the adapter pictured in the article.
  2. Interestingly, the EPROM used in the Viditel cartridge is an 8K TMS2564 (matches with my notes on the cart) according to the picture. Luckily, it is one of the 28-pin versions which are easier to find than the 24-pin version. Programming the code could be done using an adapter and substituting a 2764 for the TMS2564. It might also involve an adapter for the socket in the cartridge as well.
  3. I think Microsoft issued a "patch" for the latest failed update for 22H2. The other day, when I signed on to Updates, it downloaded a very small file labelled "Comprehensive update for . . ." The entire download took less than 5 seconds. Then, today when I downloaded and installed the "Comprehensive update. . ." which appeared again, there were absolutely no issues with the download. Interesting!
  4. Here is another group of programs for converting PALs to GALs and other stuff. OPALJR21.zip
  5. Here are some docs and cross-references that might be of use: Lattice GAL Cross Reference.pdf LATTICE GALs Discontinued.pdf PAL Cross Reference.pdf
  6. If you can't find one, I can burn and assemble on for $25.
  7. If it was one of those "Optional Quality updates", I have found them to be suspect. I never download them.
  8. I got it from here: https://www.techspot.com/downloads/6463-java-se.html
  9. Download Java 9.0.4
  10. I have a few of the AOL disks and they still work with no data loss!
  11. Success!! Thanks to the tips from @mzapf and @RickyDean, I was able to suss out the problem. I downloaded and installed Java 9.0.4 and everything is up and running in all of its glory😀
  12. If anyone gets it to open and run, please post step-by-step instructions. Until then, I'll be using Vn2.4.7. I'm having the same results as @RickyDean - just downloaded the latest Java SE
  13. Most anti-virus programs have problems with .dll or .exe files that have a "reputation" exception. That is, a program that has no or very few previous downloads. Almost all can be bypassed and downloaded and installed if you scroll down a bit. There is usually some means to bypass the quarantine. Sometimes it is the browser (like CHROME) and other times the anti-virus program will "choke" on a particular file. That is why I have a couple of different browsers installed.
  14. I had a minor problem with the download. My anti-virus (Norton) insisted that one of the files was "dangerous" and immediately quarantined it. However, I was able to use the bypass and load it anyway. So, anyone else that is using Norton will have to do the same. The file involved is "TI99Hdlmg32.dll".
  15. You're getting there! The "Wizard of Forth" strikes again. Busy putting the HSGPL version together.
