  1. First and foremost I want to thank all of you who are part of this thread and the other one! Each and every one of you have said such nice things regarding the dustcovers I make! I am so humbled by the comments and know I am doing a good thing! To clear up one of the issues with my dustcovers, is the one regarding 'cut-outs' for power cords, etc. I have done some covers with the cut-outs and they just become too sloppy and totally loose their shape. Anytime you section a straight line, it can only weaken its integrity. Therefore, after trying to do this, I have decided not to do the cut-outs! When you receive my dustcovers, they will fit snuggly, but with time and use, they seem to fit nicer and nicer. The whole idea behind doing these dustcovers, was to help protect the consoles from dust and mishaps that we all know can happen. I completely understand the value and meaning of the older video game systems to all of you, (I am also married to one!), so if my dustcovers will please the majority that is OK by me! So many people have wanted me to make other dustcovers, but I also have learned that I really need to have the physical console in order to make a good fitting dustcover. I just received a 'junk' Atari 800XL and will be working on making that dustcover in the coming week. If anyone has or can lead me to some 'junk' consoles, I would be very pleased! RedRaider, thank you from the bottom of my heart for posting the pictures of the dustcovers you have purchased from me, you are my hero......today! I have also been asked to list my dustcovers here on AtariAge, I have and it didn't work out very well! Sorry! So take a look in our store on eBay or for the dustcovers I have up for auction. I know many of you do not like the idea of bidding and waiting 7 days, but again, I have found this to work out much better for oldjd and I. Thank you all again, I had no idea all of this was going on until oldjd showed me last night! Please feel free to contact us at: papanannysfunstuff@yahoo.com anytime!
  2. I am looking for console carcasses for my use to make dustcover patterns. If you, or someone you know, may have them laying around collecting dust, I would appreciate having them! Here is a list of some of the ones I am wanting: Sega Dreamcast - Sega Saturn - Sega Genisis Model 1 - Sega Genisis Model 2 - Sega CDX - Panasonic 3D0 - NEC Turbo BUO - Neo Geo CD - Playstation - Playstation 2 - Channel F I will not return the carcasses so please keep that in mind! I appreciate any help I can get and if there is another console carcass you may have that I haven't listed, please let me know! Thank you all and take care! Barb Nannys Sewing Treats
  3. You should list this in the WANTED section of the marketplace, as you will likely get more traffic and visibility to suit your specific needs in there. Thank you, I will do that right now!
  4. I would if I could get a carcass to make the pattern!
  5. I agree with what you have said, but to do a cover with just someone supplying the dimensions doesn't work well, have already tried it! Thanks!

  7. Hi Walter, I do have a dustcover for the Atari 7800, it is in either black or brown pleather with white thread for the embroidery. It can either just have the Fuji and Atari or both of those with 7800 also. Let me know what you are wanting and I will try to make it happen! Thanks! Barb
  8. Hi again all, this is Barb from nannyssewingtreatsbarb on eBay! Here are the 2 newest covers I have done and they will be up for auction on eBay sometime during this week end, hope you like!
  9. If you will send me an example of what you are wanting, let me see what I can do. Shipping to Canada is usually around $6.50-$7.00 plus cost of item. Thank you!
  10. Maybe a Clear Leather Dust Cover could be provided... that way your CV is "protected" in case you get a little excited looking at it! You mean one that allowed insertion of a cartridge but still prevented metal-to-metal contact? Amen! Man, have we hijacked this thread, or what, with these impure thoughts. Time to return to our regularly scheduled program and get our heads out of the gutter! LMAO!!! You all are too funny! But seriously now.....a clear cover is something I am afraid wouldn't do well with embroidery, but what do I know! I will look when I am searching out different materials, never can tell what I will find!
  11. I don't have an eBay store, but you can find my on eBay at: nannyssewingtreatsbarb Thank you!
  12. You can also view my covers on eBay at: nannyssewingtreatsbarb Is this my fav Vectrex guy?????
  13. Thank you! Yes, it is a black pleather, I also liked it centered....glad you do too!
  14. It is possible but it would entail me having to have the one you want digitized for my machine, that costs more! I am NOT against it, so if you could send me an example of the logo you are wanting, let me see what I can, ok? Take care! Barb
  15. Hi Everyone! This is oldjd's wife, Barb, or nannyssewingtreats! Here are the pictures that you have been wanting to see, I hope you like and if so please visit me on eBay at: nannyssewingtreatbarb I will be putting dustcovers up in different colors and materials, so I hope to hear from you! I have spoken with Keith Robinson and he has given me his permission and blessing to use the running man logo, so these are official Intellivision logo's! I also make dustcovers for many of the other classic console's, Atari, Colecovision, Nintendo, Vectrex! Any questions, please email me through AtariAge and I will respond as quickly as possible! Thank you all for your interest and hope you enjoy the pictures I have attached! Barb P.S. This is an update from an older thread related to these dustcovers. Please look at the pictures to see the new additions! We have moved, mostly unpacked and I am back at my ol' friends....the sewing machines!
