I always felt the same way but I had this "extra" console and I just wanted to experiment with it. It turned out so good that I ended up keeping this one long after I got rid of the other consoles. It's the only one I hung onto cause it looks so cool. Where about in PA are you? Pioneer, I am near Erie. Sorry it took me a few days to answer. Life is hectic.

Thanks! I did the modification myself. I first removed the long RCA cable from the back and installed the female RCA jack in the lower body. I sanded the upper body and triple coated it with gloss red paint. It turned out really nice and it's super smooth!

Hi All! My name is John and I am new to the forum. I have visited Atariage for years because of the awesome info contained here but only recently became a registered user. My post is concerning the sale of my entire 2600 collection. It is tough but I need to clear some debt and I think it's time to let this stuff go. That being said, I could list it on eBay but I think I should target an audience like myself and gives collectors a chance to own this stuff. My eBay user ID is jdgasperin and I have 159 (100%) positive feedbacks. I have a collection of 68 Atari 2600 games (31 with boxes and manuals, 35 with manuals only, 2 with no box or manual) Also, I have a 2600, Darth Vader model, which has been customized with an RCA out on the back and painted gloss red. The system includes the manual, 2 power supplies, 2 Slick Stick controllers, 1 Gemstick controller and 1 Atari controller. You can see from the photos that everything in very good condition. Everything works and has been well cared for. What you see in the photos is: 35 game manual + the system manual in protective sleeves, 31 game boxes (additional manuals for these games are inside those boxes), the system and accessories Now the important part... I want to sell everything at once and just get it over with. I am thinking... like.... $250 (ouch, is that too much?) I have put so much work into this collection and I think that is a fair price but you guys and gals can let me know if that is realistic. Well, that's about it. Thanks for looking!
