Hi all, I dug out my Samsung SC1224 that hasn't seen light of day in 28 years and am looking to hook it up to my 1088XLD with either the VBXE or Sophia v2 and was wondering if there any additional mods needed to get this monitor to work with these upgrades.
I read where @mytek had to change a smd resistor on the Sophia v2, is this still needed for the Samsun SC1224?
Anything like that needed for the VBXE???
I too have to do as @DrVenkman did with his SAmsung SC1224 as the 3 front controls are frozen solid, so will need som WD40 treatment on those pots...
Still have a JVC SC1224 and either a 2nd JVC or 1 Goldstar SC1224 in long term storage (behind the desk, behind the shelves, behind 2 rows of boxes 7 ft high, then in my closet), but can't get to them until I move maybe...
(the Samsung sc1224 and 2 sm124's sat between my U shaped desk and the shelves, took about 3 hours to remove the stuff under the desk) too much clutter in my bedroom...
