Awesome! It's actually one of the games I play the most. I find it challenging and like the fast pace. My wife likes Enduro so I bought her Turbo. Turbo blows it out of the water in my opinion. I'd say it's similar with better colors, graphics, faster pace, responsive controls, better landscapes, just an overall huge improvement. When I first started playing I found it challenging which makes for longer play time.

I always see interesting posts about good games and or rare expensive games. I always think WOW I'd like to check that out. So I check my rom menu on my Harmony and sure enough I usually have it already. I'd call the Harmony a mandatory purchase. Keep a few commons around to get your cart fix, but place the rest on a display shelf.

Cold season for me. Medicine for cabin fever. I do seek out stuff during warmer months at yard sales and antique shops. I do note that I have never found anything worth purchasing, but I'm always optimistic.

Excellent! Someone posted about a Vegas ad copying the theme song from this game. I put her in to check and no sound. For being simplistic games you really need manuals to take full advantage of all they have to offer.

Medieval Mayhem - The Dragon graphic rocks! Plus the multiplayer play is outstanding!

Forgot to mention that I also got a Caanoo for Christmas. I now have every game (rom I can find) at my finger tips in a portable device the size of a Nintendo DS. Love it! Got the TV out cable also.

I can confirm that two thickness sizes of Hex discs exist. I recently bought a CX-10 with hex off ebay. I had one already and wanted a pair for my 1977 heavy sixer collection. The hex disc is what I would call a Gen 2 hex disc or a separate vendor/material supplier hex disc. It is thinner than my first hex disc. Significantly thinner. I'll post pics soon, I need to pull out the macro lens. I'll try and get a fine ruler or something to provide some scale. I'm going to post it in the regular 2600 forum.

Searches don't reflect popularity or favorites. I search "xxxx + wiki" for things I need to learn about. I don't search Wiki for my childhood favorites. I know them. Wikipedia is a starting point. Those statistics illustrate curiosity or ignorance. The most searched word is sex, not abstinence or Blockbuster night. Curiosity.

Maybe someone would be willing to post a list of past/present Xmas games?
