I am proud to announce that the weekend before the new Disney flick
Tron Legacy hits theaters we are hosting such a huge event.
Starting Saturday Dec 11th at noon, and lasting until the Mayan calendar reads 2012
Donald Hayes, Marc Sellers, and the current Tron WR holder David Cruz
will participate in a 3 way last man standing TRON OFF marathon contest
Walt Disney himself is excited and may even come play Pong and wood rail pinball
Like that alone is not enough, RK local promoters JJ Cahill and my son Justin Knucklez
have put together an amazing simultaneous multi marathon event as well.
close to half of our games have already been reserved for the elite CAG players
To name a few;
Life Magazine alumni Joel West (Chasing Ghosts star) marathoning Frenzy
Current WR holder Laszlo Takacs on Tempest
Current WR holder Jason Cram on Congo Bongo

John Mcallister contemplating which game to destroy (not 100% confirmed)
a guy with an American Tie trying to regain his DK title on a single attempt
(not yet 100% confirmed, but a very strong posibliity) ~stranger things have happened
Robert Mruczek promised he would make it if his work schedule permitted (Star Wars? Scramble?)
Walter Day attempting to regain his Make Trax world record
and last but not least;
I plan to shock the arcade world by overtaking the Space Invaders WR as well as the bogus 80's Space Fury WR, Sinistar on true default settings, Break 9999 on Monaco GP (Les Martin showed me how to get past the kill screen) up my Pleiades WR and hopefully have time to break 1 million on Phoenix.....and then to tie Brian Kuh, set 11 other innaugural WR's like Cabal, Surf Planet, Poke a Mole, The Bishop Of Battle, Polybius, Funky Fish, Wii Hula Hoop, Donkey Kong "no jumping challenge", Crazy Kong "blindfolded, The Glob using my feet and last but not least a new high on Squid Search.
If any of you guys have a shot at any classic era game WR please contact me asap and I will do my best to get it in the store for you.
I am in contact with the peeps at Guinness and we are trying to set the most arcade wr's in one event at one location in a 24 hour period (not really sure if it counts if the marathons last longer) [hopefully Walter is researching that for me]
it really should be great... please contact me at richie@richieknucklez.com if interested
admission is still $10 for Flashback Fridays (Dec 10th)
and starting Saturday (Dec 11th) at noon - $15 per person for the next two days of free game play. (That still leaves 50+ classics to play for all you non-pros)
