25300. I didn't think there was much to the game at first, but it really grew on me and turned into something crazy. I remember REALLY wanting this one as a kid, but never got it. Good pick!

515. This drove me nuts, but kind of stuck with me during the week. Happy to figure out level 4 finally. Really a lot of gameplay for a 2600 game!

27. I've always enjoyed this game ever since seeing it first on a greenscreen Apple 2. This really FEELS like an Apple 2 port with the slowdown as more bitmapped objects appear on-screen. Looks to be a quick port with not as much Atari 5200 hardware utilized as could be. Nice choice!

11900. Pew pew pew! I'm done with those blue jets! The general lack of flicker in Activision games is interesting. Must've been a design decision. If they did arcade ports, they'd probably HAVE to allow some flicker to get all the moving objects everywhere, but having their own take on genres (e.g. Freeway instead of Frogger) means they can modify the mechanics so they don't HAVE to have multiple objects intersecting. What's the closest Activision has ever come to Pac Man?

Posting bonus first... here's a Chinook from one of my favorite movies, 2003's The Core. Whenever a Chinook is on-screen, you know work is getting done or people are getting rescued! I don't know if this one exactly is piloted by Alan D. Purwin, but he did the helicopters for The Core and a billion other movies, from Die Hard, Jurassic Park all the way to Skull Island.

Bah, 520 and I have no more chances to play. Great game. The 5200 controller really works well for this one.

Asteroids 8830. Wish I had more time to play. 4AA really makes it a nice, challenging game!

From a tip guide: When playing watch the Mad Bomber rather than the bombs; he drops them from where he currently is. As long as the bombs make contact with the bucket they will be extinguished; they don't have to actually be caught in it.
