For sale: Atari ST/Mega ST diagnostic cartridge

Sun Jun 22, 2014 9:31 AM

Since I've had to get rid of my STs, I have no further need for the diagnostic cartridge I've made. The exact version of the test suite is "Mega and ST Field Service Diagnostic Rev. 4.4." Works great. There's some tarnish on the copper traces but it doesn't seem to affect the functionality at all. I haven't had the good sense to snap a picture of the main menu before selling all of my hardware, but you can see one here. I do have a few pics of various test being run, which you can see below.

I do not have any rights to the actual diagnostic software, so this is more of a "parts and labor" type of a deal. I'm thinking $25 shipped First Class (within the US).

For sale: Flashed Xbox 360

Sat Jun 14, 2014 7:55 PM

I have a spare Xbox 360 that has to go before I move. It has a Samsung drive flashed with iXtreme LT v2.01. I've also done the X-clamp fix on it, to prevent overheating.

Now, the unit is nothing special to look at. It's got some small nicks and scratches, and the upper surface (when horizontal) is "pockmarked" (from what I'm guessing must have been some manner of solvent splatter). It's also missing one of the horizontal-orientation feet. But, it works like a champ.

Comes with power supply only. (The power lead seems to have had a close encounter with some sort of a sharp-toothed critter. It works just fine, but could always be replaced with a standard PC power cable.)

Asking... I dunno, $50 + shipping?

SOLD: Atari SC1224 color monitor (modified)

Thu May 15, 2014 2:30 PM

Anyone interested in a nice, Samsung-made SC1224? Works great and is in excellent shape, save for two small dings in the bottom edge of the screen bezel. Two years ago I replaced all the electrolytic capacitors. It's had rock-stable picture and vibrant colors ever since.

I also performed two small modifications. I replaced the original 13-pin DIN A/V cable with DE-9 socket, and installed a sync separator circuit. The monitor is now compatible with a wide range of RGB-capable hardware, including systems that only produce Composite Sync signal (e.g. Amstrad CPC, ZX Spectrum). I've used it successfully with the following systems:

  • Atari ST
  • Amiga 500
  • Amstrad CPC464 (the last picture)
  • ZX Spectrum +2
  • Harlequin (a ZX Spectrum 48K clone)
  • Commodore 128 in 80-column mode (via an RGBi-to-RGB converter) (the last-but-one picture)
  • Sega Genesis

A DE-9 to DIN-13 cable is included, as is the original A/V cable, should the new owner want to reattach it.

I'm thinking $70 + postage. The shipping weight is 30 lbs (about a third of it is packing materials, so that it gets safely wherever it goes) and I will do my best to find the most cost-effective shipping option.

SOLD.

SOLD: Atari 1200XL

Tue Apr 22, 2014 6:40 PM

With a heavy heart, I am letting go of my 1200XL. It's in a very good condition, very clean, only minimal yellowing. Works like a charm. The keyboard has been completely restored (high polish!) and is completely functional. I've done the ClearPic 2002 mod and +5V SIO fix (so it's compatible with modern SIO-powered storage devices like SDrive or SIO2SD). The power supply is practically new, bought from Best several months ago.
