Anybody feel like going through these and seeing if we are missing anything? https://ebay.com/itm/296326554703

From my days working for a local ISP. Great books at the time. The "Just Enough C/C++" book got me jump-started. Selling together or separately. Increase your YouTube nerd cred by putting these books on a shelf in your background! Guaranteed to bring the booty!* Taker pays shipping via USPS Media Mail, to USA and The True North, only. The SharePoint book includes CD. * nerd cred and booty are absolutely not guaranteed. Might actually make you radioactive to members of the opposite sex. No warranty offered, expressed or implied. Offer not valid in all 57 states, or where prohibited, and may cause California in cancer. Payments are not tax-deductible. YMMV and batteries not included.

Oh, that reminds me, I need to refund a little bit of shipping for someone... This pisses me off. It has only happened to me once, and I adamantly refused. My shipping charges are what eBay calculates. Period. If someone does not like the charge, they can contact me ahead of time so I can explain, or they can just pass on. The only time I ever charged more to shipping was international, which I no longer do, because of the amount of time it took for customs forms and that I had to stand in line at the Post Office to ship. I have no idea if that is the case anymore as I stopped shipping internationally a long time ago (except to the Great White North.)

Dragon's Lair Command Module for TI99/4A *SOLD*
OLD CS1 replied to nanochess's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
There is a balance between a price which will put most of a product in the hands of real people, and prices which will put most of the product in hands of collectors. Putting it in the hands of real people generally means there will be little to no profit, if not a loss. Putting it in the hands of collectors means money, but little to no actual use of the game. I scarcely imagine homebrew devs want their creations to languish. -

About two decades ago, a stash of Commodore CD32s were found in a warehouse. Someone got hold of them and put them up on eBay. I picked up two for $69 each. Would be pretty cool to see such a find of 99/4A consoles (not disregarding the Deihn's Hardware find of accessories and software.)

I tend to put an "l" in it.

And then flood the market after all warranty periods had expired? Do we know how many were manufactured after that, and how many missed the skip?
-
It wound up being the FG99. I have two: one works with the new firmware, one does not.

I had not thought about that. I would like to get my hands on a couple of E/A carts to make SuperCarts for the fun of it. I have a 32k SuperSpace II, but the CRU bank switching is not universal. Although, assembling one version of something to test on it then another version with regular bank switching is not too much of a hassle. Of course, any more the FG99 provides an excellent prototyping platform. I think I just talked myself out of it.

I picked up an MPS-1250, something I had wanted for a very, very long time. My intention back when I coveted it was to use it with both my Amiga and my Commodore setup. Now my Amiga can print to network printers, I instead plan to use the parallel port with my TI. However, as one might expect, and to my dismay, only one interface is active at a time. According to Appendix D of the MPS 1250 manual, it looks like all of the settings I want can be achieved in both modes with the same dip switch settings. Meaning, I should be able to switch between parallel and serial modes and be fully functional just by flipping SW1. Does anyone have any experience with this model or the MPS 1230, which appears to functional similarly, having done what I plan to do?
-
Yes. That is what I did.

Yup. Just put the firmware files on the SD card. https://endlos99.github.io/finalgrom99/
