Famicom was only sold in Japan. It was not sold in the USA. If you are looking into buying one eBay is the way to go.

This is the real Japanese Super Mario Bros. 2. It was only released for the Famicom disk system never on cartridge. All of those Japanese Super Mario Bros. 2 Cartridges are reproductions and are not made by Nintendo.
