  1. Thanks for the valuable info. Paul: I have no problems shipping to UK. I do have a couple of locals that have shown interest but if that doesn't pan out in a few days and you still want it I will PM you.
  2. I have an Atari 822 thermal printer that I want to sell locally in Sweden. Been searching all over the web for awhile but cannot find anyone else selling the 822 so have no idea what a fair asking price would be? The printer is in working condition and comes with half a roll of paper.
  3. I tried making a video but Windows Phone has no way of recording game play internally so the video quality was not that great. I'll make another attempt as soon as I get time. Great, can you PM me your MS mail address please?
  4. Sorry if this is not the right place but I couldn't think of anywhere better to post this. I've finally got the all clear from Texas Instruments to publish my Parsec WP8 remake (first mentioned here) and now looking for a few brave beta testers. If you have a Windows Phone 8 device, a Microsoft mail account and want to try it out then please drop me a PM with your e-mail. I'll send instructions on where to download the beta in a few days.
  5. I voted "No memory expansion" but then I remembered reading somewhere -- or maybe not -- that the nano-PEB (which I do have) includes 32K expansion. Can someone please set me straight here?
  6. Yes sir, that worked like a charm! Thanks for your help.
  7. Thanks Vorticon, looking forward to seeing it there. Note that I have updated the files to V2 which is (supposed to be) the final version. Ah, but I did infact exactly the opposite of that! Read the heading one more time and then also the continuation of the sentence in the post. I'm certainly not the one to boast about my TI programming skills. It was just meant as an eyecatcher
  8. Glad you feel that way sometimes99er: Thanks for posting the screens!
  9. ...this one won't be. I've started writing it several years ago to reacquaint myself with XB and only recently managed to find the time to complete it. In "Jungle Rajdeep" you must collect small diamonds stolen by various African critters. The number of animals will increase with each level up to a certain point and in the final level you have to face the dreaded cannibals. Here is also where the greatest diamond of them all, the star of Africa, is found. Extra life every 1000 pts, use arrow keys to control Rajdeep. The game is compiled XB (kudos to Harry). Attached zip files contain Win994a and Classic99 format files. Should load automatically if mounted as DSK1 and after Extended Basic is started. Enjoy (or something... ) EDIT: Attached zip files contain updated version 2: Unintentional cheat removed, one additional life added at start of game. Also added hi-score. JUNGLE_V2.zip JungleTIDISK_V2.zip
  10. Assembly (last line is 180 182) : L410 DATA KEY,NC7,NV30,NV31 DATA CEQ,NV31,NC1,NT1 DATA IF,NT1,L643 For XB, there is no line 643, closest surrounding lines are 600 and 645. Line 410: 410 CALL KEY(1,K,S):: IF S=0 THEN 645
  11. Hi Harry, First a huge thank you for your compiler, it's a great tool and I really appreciate your work! I recently went back to working on a silly game that I started back in 2011. At the time it compiled succesfully under the older XB compiler version. I decided to update my stuff and downloaded the latest XBC V2.1 but it appears the line number bug that was discussed in another thread, or something related, is still present. During assembly I get 'UNDEFINED SYMBOL - 0182'. Looking in the assembler code, line 182 is 'DATA IF,NT1,L643' but L643 is not defined anywhere. I tried the old compiler version and there were no issues. My code is well over 200 lines so resequencing does not work. If you need more info or anything let me know.
  12. OX.: I've put a lot of time into optimizing the touch controller. There's also the option to use tilt control (accelerator) but I personally prefer the touch D-pad variant. I think it works pretty well and the game is overall easier to play than on the original hardware with joysticks. Of course, hit detection is also better so that might explain part of it, but still... JonnyBritish: Thanks, appreciate that! You can count on hearing from me as soon it's ready for release S1500: I'll see what I can do about that. If it doesn't complicate porting too much I'm sure I can add keyboard as a controller option.
  13. Done from scratch, enemy movements simulated as close to the original as possible.
  14. Perhaps I should mention this here: A Parsec remake coming soon to a Windows Phone 8 near you. Once the WP8 version is out there will be an Android version too. The game is finished and right now I'm waiting for permission from TI to publish since the graphics are copyrighted. Many sounds had to be redone because they did not play well on phone speaker. Speech synthesis is there but not the original lady. Instead it's my Cylon friend doing the talking. I'll have a game play video out soon. Anyway, here are some screenshots:
