  1. Wow, thats a very very long time ago. I only snail-mailed (+ floppes) with only one person in the USA. Cool. Did you enjoy the European / Dutch software/demos I send you back in the old days ?
  2. Hi, I am Richard Vermeulen from the Netherlands, also known as DCW!, The Wizard or Stormtrooper of Death. In 1990 I made the Megaview demo. It is a scrolling screen demo, but I wanted the people to discover the hidden trick / easter egg. using your joystick. (afterwards it was a stupid idea, to think that everybody would try this) So, for all your Atarians. run this demo and use the joystick to scroll and read all the messages.. including the C65-1 story. Yep. its 33 years too late, but better late than never. Sorry for my mistake while programming, when I was 19. Here is the youtube video link for this demo.
  3. maybe a stupid question, but I see 2 versions of ShamaXL. what is the diference between the DAC PCM5102A AUDIO OUT and the PWM AUDIO OUT version ?
  4. Oh, Atari Magazine, IS the actual name. It was made by the old Stichting Atari Gebruikers (S.A.G.)
  5. The old Dutch Atari Magazine (on paper) also mentioned some Midi hardware/software for the Atari 8bit. in one of their magazines from 1986/87.
  6. When I had an 600XL + 1064 mem expansion, I could run the original Big Demo from High-Tech Team. I then had to hack it to make it working. the 600XL had a difrent ROM than 800XL/130XE. fun fact: My hacked Big Demo didnt work on the 800XL/130XE afterwards... = 600XL + 1064 only
  7. That would be great, Poison. I prefer MP3 (so I can listen to your great music on my MP3 player, while jogging outside)
  8. Poison, Thanks for this great new album. I also your CD with my ABBUC magazine. Is it possible to get the MP3 version files of the songs, so i can play it using my MP3 player while jogging.
  9. Stephen, but what about using floppy based SDX with 128K (or more memory) Atari computers ? Lots of SDX code can be stored in the ramdisk of the 128K+ machines, so not much code page swapping from floppy..... And there are still much more Atarians that do not have cart based HDD gear (SDX/AVG/etc) in 2022, but like to use SDX floppy instead of the old Spartados versions..
  10. Volgens mij inderdaad John Bierens (of Beerens).
  11. MyTek, can your XEP80-II also do the high-resolution bit-mapped graphics 100% ? (source:https://www.atarimagazines.com/v6n3/xep80.html) When I was a member (and founder) of Atari Club Eindhoven, my friend and co-founder of A.C.E , John (Forgot his last name) , was experimenting a lot with his XEP80. He made some improvements to the bitmapped graphics to make them draw much faster. Sadly I lost contact with him after 1992. I ask this question, because most users of the XEP80 (or your version) want it for 80chars text, but I am just curious about the bitmapping features. Might be interesting, if you are gonna change lotsa things, to speed up the bitmapping gfx....
