  1. Iam sure, that the more Tru learns about the Jaguar, the better MK will improve on its way to completion. Also, remember it runs on Jagstudio, proving the potential of those software tools
  2. I did not agree with discarding the Jaguar Object Processor, being not capable enough. And of course, I appreciate and support the effort to bring MK to the Jag!
  3. Why open a new thread anytime there is an update? Just an Observation hehe 😅
  4. It's an early alpha and it's Mortal Kombat on the Jaguar! This alone is a major achievement. However, getting rid of the many issues will take another huge effort by the programmer. Keeping fingers crossed. What makes me worry the most is performance. The Object Processor already waves the white flag, tearing apart the screen top when there is an uppercut move. Also, the jump kicks and mid air rolls are noticably choppy compared to other versions. There is no AI yet, so lets hope it does not choke up everything. Still alot of work.
  5. Wrapping up the maps, added beautiful background art by Szadi. Work on boxart started, soon there will be the first Test ROM of the complete game!
  6. Always great to see new devs joining Lynx. Lets see. So far its a title screen and I am not so convinced about the choice of game.
  7. Fantastic news, will order as soon as it is available!
  8. Would love to see Pang and Rainbow Islands on the Jag!
  9. Looks like a Genesis game, regarding the sprite/color style, but it runs on modern hardware and possibly it is much more sophisticated than it looks at first glance. I haven't played it much. A similar game is very possible on Jaguar though, built from scratch, but a 1:1 port is very unlikely.
  10. same level is unlikely, R Type and Thunder Force are 16 bit shmups that require more capable hardware, e.g. Atari Lynx.
  11. I doubt you would see this kind of graphics/sprites on a 7800!
  12. Actually, Switch and Steamdeck are bigger devices.
