  1. From my understanding a DXODR66 is a overclocked 486 DX33 with higher cache (8kb?) to obtain 66mhz i believe. I was big into that stuff when i was a kid, but that was so long ago.
  2. This item has been sold to Robson just finalizing the details. Thanks everyone for your interest!
  3. trying to get a hold of my friend see if i can borrow his ST monitor and play with it this weekend. I had it running and played with it when i bought it, but the monitor i have gave it up. I tried to fix it but I am not much into monitor repair. ill record it when its running and post it on youtube.
  4. I have talked to a couple of people with them but who knows how many still actually exist.
  5. Sorry if it came off that way my apology just trying to put my transputer on the market, not break down how much and the reasons i paid what I did for everyone. There where some machines left out of the deal too like the Altairs and some apple stuff. I have sold/traded off most of the stuff and have kept most of what i wanted. I'm still in the hole 3-4k so this machine is my break even. I would like to "invest" it back into my true passion which is retro gaming. stuff i kept was a superpet, C128, C64, amiga 500, amiga 2000 and TRS-80 Model 3.. the rest didn't really care to much about. again sorry for sounding snippy I just don't feel like explaining my finances or reasoning for my price.
  6. it's not up for debate I knew it was rare after researching it i didn't mind borrowing extra money to get it. Now i'm selling it for 4k and this is the last reply on how much i paid for it. the price is what it is and the machine is what it is.
  7. More into collecting video game stuff, pinball, arcades and whatever else try me. PM ME with what you have to offer and go from there
  8. I know most people are not willing to pay this much it will probably stay, but may trade something(s) that interest me more.
  9. i paid $6000 for the lot or i could have paid $2000 without the ATW800 so i paid $4000. That is what i want for the unit if i don't get it ill keep it.
  10. I have decided to sell my ATW800 since I know someone will appreciate it more and take good care of it. I'm in the middle of going through separation and I would like it to go to a good home. In saying that I'm not giving it away I paid $4000 CAN for the unit and will not accept any less if it sells great if not oh well. Also may trade for video game stuff of equal value. Is prefer to do the transaction in person even if I have to drive a fair distance. If need be I could get the unit crated and shipped at your cost. I will post all the info when I get home from work tonight.. For the meantime you can check out my other posts on my unit.
  11. i got some literature i'm reading on it right now. think the easiest way would be with a monitor (obviously); if anyone knows of a guide to do this i would be all ears.
  12. It wasn't just sitting around, i bought it from a huge collector. I find this system fascinating and like pondering how far tech would be today if this technology took off. There is even talk of the possibilities off artificial intelligence in a processing language called OCCAM. From what I have read the processor was so good at calculating it couldn't be matched until around 2007 processors hit the market (I don't know all the technical details on this yet; but i will). i found a good video that explains how a transporter works over a traditional CPU
  13. Not %100 sure on the specs yet im working on that.. in the mean time here is a youtube video of the machine running!! I dont have working ST monitor as of yet so that will be the next step
  14. thank you i also have a TON of games for the interact PC and spare parts.
