  1. When did you buy your FC Twin. I assume its one of the yobo logo models.
  2. Does your FC Twin handle the opening song of mario rpg ok, or does it distort it?
  3. Yeah It Seems like the FC Twin will be the way to go. I thought about the FC3 Plus, I'll mod it to accept my SNES controllers if I do that. I wonder if the Retron 3 v1 handles the SNES sound better. I care more about the sound being right then I do about being able to play castlevania III.
  4. I bought a Retron 3 v2 last week. It distorts the SNES music. The opening song on mario rpg for example. Secret of Evermore was very distoreted. How is the SNES sound on other clone systems? Retro Duo? FC Twin? Retro Twin?
  5. Well that is a con. Its hard to argue with the price tag though.
  6. Which do you guys recommend the GN Twin or the Gen-X Dual Station? I went original hardware for the snes but I would like to go clone for nes and genesis. So I wanted to see which system you guys recommended.
  7. Thanks for your help. I bought a mini snes, but maybe some day in the future I'll try a clone.
  8. Who can speak to the Retro Twin? How does its compatibility compare to the Retro Duo or the FC Twin? I am mostly concerned about the SNES compatibility here, but feel free to mention the NES compatibility aswell.
  9. I guess the trick there then is making sure you get one of the newer FC Twin revisions then.
  10. I use to have a generation Nex. I enjoyed it a lot. It was finicky with Dragon Warrior, but all my other games worked fine. It had a death grip on the cartridges too. I could see myself getting a nes clone in the future. Granted there is only a handful of games I really want to play on the NES.
  11. Ok original it is then. My next question would be then. Should I get the Mini redesign or the original.
  12. Hey Guys. I am trying to decide what system I should buy. The Retro Duo, the new Retro Twin by Tomee, or an original snes. I like the idea of having an NES slot, but I see that as an extra. There are a few NES games I would like to play but not very many. I am more concerned about the SNES. I want to be able to play Mario RPG and the Japanese game Dragon Quest I & II. Those might pose a problem. I just want to see what people would recommend. Retro Duo, Retro Twin, or an original SNES.
