Just bear in mind that this is NOT a flash cart but a multicart. I do have one and it’s spectacular. But they are different beasts. 🙂

RTO - my "production" take on the multicart
lazzeri replied to 5-11under's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Absolutely no hurries on both - especially Barrage. TBH I was just trying to refresh people’s memory on your long story of excellent products for our little community, notably the neglected platforms. I’m a proud owner of your Arcadia multicart & microvision LCD and truly hope to get more of your stuff. If Atari inc - who’s pouring millions all around - can release a commercial product with a lot of flaws and “that’s untested” remarks and still get a lot of praise for it, I truly feel that your attempt should get a little more love. Especially being a hobby product made based on a hobby design and donated shells. A lot of people is pouring love in this for little to no money - and I pretty sure every problem will be solved. Anyway. Still waiting in line for the chance to get an INTV multicart. Seeing how hard is to make one, no wonder so few people try to make it. Can’t take you or @aotta enough. -

Patiently waiting in line for a chance to get one. Even better this way. Also on the line for Microvision Barrage. It will be a perfect match for the new LCD screen you provided. :-) -
Amazing to see a legend like you joining us, Mr. Van Ryzin. And thank you for all the great moment that HERO and Cosmic Commter gave us all! 🙂

Sorry, I was out of town for work. Of course! Here are they: This one is a little outdated but has a very nice interface, it's pretty organized and even have a "english" button: https://refuge.tokyo/x68k/x68000.html This one is more up-do-date. But as most japanese sites it is a mess, have a weird '90s design and it is japanese only. But it's the most complete by a mile: http://tkhr000.s601.xrea.com/x68softlist/x68soft.htm -

BTW, I was just sorting out and organizing my little X68000 games collection. Hope you like it. 🙂 There was a little 6-months frenzy period around 2010 that I was basically buying every x68k lot I could lay my hands on. Then I found out that there were over 600 known commercial games (back then!) and that went away. But i´m starting to feel the itch again. Oh well. -

Anyone here? 🙂 To whom it might concert: I´ve spent the last three weels frantically compiling a list of all commercially released X68000 games. No Doujin, no applications, no magazines - only commercially released games in big box or Takeru format. There´s over 740 games listed in the damn thing. 😅 I´ve used the TOSEC as primary source and then carefully checked every game´s existence using two of the major collectors site in Japan. Listed are the game name, the japanese original game, publisher, release date and number of discs. That took a hell of work. Hope it can be useful to anybody else. Commercial X68000 Games List.xlsx -
I´d love a copy, please. 🙂

I´d love a copy if still available, please! -
Hey @Albert. Congratulations on the arrangement, much deserved. Your long time passion for everything Atari & all the effort maintaining the site and store is actually a big part of what kept the Atari 2600 afloat until today. Really nice to see that recognized. Will those flash boards replace the old method as of now? I mean, will the PRGE releases and all recent sales (including “last chance”) already be shipped like that? Should we expect any impact on quality overall on hardware or printed materials? (I believe there will be no impact at all but I have to ask 🙂 ) Finally, do you thing that this new method will make the “last chance” backlog move quickly? Again, congrats and best of luck to us all!

I feel that those are two different markets to be fulfilled. Of course a multicart is a highly useful little thing, a cart that you can keep plugged on your console to play whatever you want, whenever you wish. That’s the “player’s market”. I really should aim for a copy to myself. But a boxed copy of a dedicated cart, the “collector’s marked” is something else entirely - the fetish of having a beautiful thing, carefully crafted. And you’re not forced to pick a side: you can have only one of those, or both. There’s multicarts for a lot of systems, like Atari 2600, Coleco, NES, Vectrex… you name it. But the collectors still hunt down the boxed games. 🙂 -
