i think the game i most injoyed this year has to be BurnOut III, not the best of the three, but, still very very good

Pretty much my thoughts as well that I have been explaining to people since B3's release, having played B1 and B2 to death. i second that, in fact i've just swaped my PS2 copy of BurOut 1 for it on the X-Box version just to do it all again but with better graphics. the trick with most of the races is not to boost when in first place, as if you do the other cars just happen to 'catch-up'.... still not finished the game; i don't think i'll get more over my 97% for a while realy

i'll be buying the game to play it on single-player, even if it did have online play. for me the driving is only half of the game, and its the tuning which floats my boat most

[ well, getting back to the games.... ] the DC has some of my most thrashed games; Daytona USA 2001 Quake III [with online play ages before 'LIVE!'] StreetFighter Alpha III [maybe the best 2D fighting game ever] Soul Calibur [still looks good] Power Stone II

both games will be wonderfull, but, i'm not into mutli-player and i love more fantasical weapons so my money is on DOOM III

i haven't completed eny of the games i've finished this year. only BurnOut II but that was last year i think

Halo 2 will be better in single-player? i dout it realy

i'll be buying it; i have most of ID's FPS and got them all on first release and it will be realy great to get this to add to my collection aswell

i played the first two on PC then the X-Box and jumped at the chance of a console only third part when it came out. its the same as the first two so if you've played either one your be more than happy realy. as you'd exspect the graphics aren't as nice as on the PC/X-Box but the manic nature of the game is still very much there

i love both machines realy, but, i think i've had more fun on the SNES; nothing has taken up as much time as fully completing Super Mario World. even again the SNES has nothing to compair with ThunderForce IV on the MD

why would NTSC work better??? my PAL version runs fine all through the game

god i've just read through all of this thread and i'm disapointed in some of what i've been reading

i feel the games been underrated some what realy, i should of got this when it was first released as its lovely to play every so often

oh sorry, i thought the Genesis II would have a socket aswell. i would continue the discussion on without me
