  1. Another bluetooth dongle that works is the Unijoysticle. I've been using it with an xbox one controller and even with the Atari VCS controllers. Neat thing is you can use one xbox controller as 2 joysticks.. so that playing Robotron is easy. There's a list of what wireless controllers will work with it. https://github.com/ricardoquesada/unijoysticle2/blob/main/docs/user_guide.md
  2. Mine is pal as well. Though I've got a slightly beat up vbxe I could install in my xld.. This might be the incentive to get that done.
  3. To me, building them was the fun part. But to do it as a service.. you'd be right back there with TBA on price.
  4. At first thought maybe glue it over the 1050.. but don't think that would look right. So I guess I'm out. Thanks anyway!
  5. I don't even use the sd card on my fujinets. I set up a server on my home pc which is on all the time anyway. Now the same files are available at every Atari with a fujinet. I can also log into someone else's server and grab files from there. Once in awhile you will find a file that fujinet doesn't like. Some on Fandal's site have a restart bug with fujinet. I don't have a sdrive max, but do have an old sdrive nuxx. It's super dependable. If something doesn't work with any of my other drives, the nuxx always seems to work. It's just not as handy since you have to move the sd card back and forth to load files.
  6. How about instead of fighting Commodore to the bottom, they had merged?
  7. You make me feel real good about my soldering. Practice a bit more on something then come back and redo those sockets. The solder didn't flow right. Bad solder? poor flux? somethings gone wrong.
  8. I was going to say it's a lifetime limit of one from Brad. Which I used years ago. I can never find a ballblazer cart for reasonable when I want one either. I think I now own 2 PokeyOne's because of that. One's a version 2, but I haven't tried it in the primary position. I also found out the hard way that an 800xl mechanical keyboard will short on a pokey one in a tkII stereo board, but not an original pokey. So my pokeyones are now in both of my 1088s.
  9. Version 1's work for the 2nd pokey in a stereo setup. Though they're a bit taller. I haven't tried a version 2 in the primary pokey spot yet to see if the non audio parts work.
  10. Common pc cases sound great to me. Are all the required signals on the slots to install things like U1MB, VBXE, rapidus? I'm thinking adapter boards could be made for these devices to plug into, which then slot into the expansion. I would rather not have a new mb that I still have to modify like a stock one for these things. Someone mentioned a pal/ntsc switch. Thats an awesome idea.
  11. Just slightly better @ 13670. There seems to be a big difference between pal and ntsc on this one. Ntsc being easier to rack up a score
  12. There are many 3d print shops you can order something printed from. I think even the Brewing Academy will do it. https://thebrewingacademy.com/products/3d-printing
  13. Ok.. a bit of experimenting. Copied the galaxian file I d/l'd from fandal's site to the sd card. No change still continuously loads/boots/reloads. So then I used fujinet to copy the file from Mr Robots server over to my sd card. This works fine. Also when copied to my tnfs server it then will load fine as well. So it's something different about the files from fandal's site.
