  1. I always try to give an honest review. I've been doing reviews for almost 25 years now (long before YouTube) and it's your audience that you are beholden to, and not a marketing department that sends you something for free. That said, I do try to be professional, which is why I reached out for comment on the joystick before I made my video to see if they knew about it or had a solution.
  2. Is this specifically the Bruce Lee portion of my video? Glad to hear it's being looked at. 👍
  3. Never seen Cloak & Dagger... but I'll have to check it out now!
  4. I was watching the movie Electric Dreams (1984) for the first time last night, and I just love the scene in the beginning when the main characters is in a computer store. There is a TON of Imagic games in the background, almost like they sponsored the movie or something. That is one of the best part about watching older 1980s movies in 2024, seeing all the original arcade machines, posters and game kiosks in the background of so many scenes! What are some other 80s movies that have cool video game cameos like this?
  5. I see AI generated art like this and initially think it looks kinda neat...but the effect quickly wears off and you can just feel how random and soulless they really are. Not to mention just how derpy they are when you look at the details. 😂
  6. Whoa! This is pretty cool. I loved the C64 original!
  7. Over the mountain, take me across the sky
Something in my vision, something deep inside
Where did I wander, where do you think I wandered to
I've seen life's magic astral plane I travel through

I get that reference, and loved Pyromania even back in 1983/ 1984.

      Hehe,,  Classic!

  9. Atari has been on a roll in 2023. Anniversary Celebration, 2600+ & GameStation Pro. How are they going to top that in 2024?!

I once said last year that this decade was the one of the Sega and Atari Renaissance.

I don't know if they can, but if they can continue to support the hardware that they currently have, I would be happy with that.

Not to say it's easy or anything,  but to top it?  (My idea)  Release an off the shelf true replacement for Atari 2600/7800,  with off the shelf + custom chips,  or an FPGA 2600 or 7800.  :)

  10. Oh yeah, you took my email at PRGE for a manual for one of the games? No hurry on that...I just remembered. 👍
  11. Going to Portland Retro Gaming Expo this weekend? Bring your Nintendo 3DS and let's STREET PASS!! See ya there!
  12. I'll be doing a panel w/ Evercade talking about physical media and game preservation. John Riggs and John Hancock will also be on the panel. Should be fun! Saturday at 3:30 PM - 4:15 PM Auditorium 1.
  13. Are you referring to the sensor bar (like shown here) https://amzn.to/3JO2Bts I would think any local retro game store in your area would have these in stock if you need them right away.
  14. The Blaze Entertainment / Evercade folks are really approachable especially on Twitter. I bet if somebody on AtariAge reached out to them they'd chat with them and maybe get this going. 👍
  15. Wow! That looks really good. I LOVED Bruce Lee on C64 as a kid
