  1. AtariOnline FTP is now on Port 30, Spynet FTP is still on port 89 and SpyNet BBS is still running on port 23, the Atari run BBS's are temporarily down, but may be back up soon. on port 1989, what the heck I will restore it now, it was running for over 5  or 6 months on a steady basis but life too it over and thats what happened.

  2. SpyNet BBS is now back online with 12 TBs of online storage space. The Atari Forem BBS is also running. For the FTP server(s) go to spynet.ddns.net ports 21 and 89, for the BBS got to spynet.dns.net port 23, and for the Atari BBS go to spynet.ddns.net port 1989. All of these systems were not running for about 2-3 months as I was doing other things and was busy for a while. And finally who can relate to playing an Atari or Retro game while listening to Pink Floyd on Vinyl, I now have over 1500 vinyl records and a good system to play them on. You just dont get the sound quality with MP3 on a phone , sorry to say that but its true. Russ Campbell.
  3. Although I haver not worked on this for a while I can make them available on my FTP and BBS servers, spynet.ddns.net port 23 telnet, ports 21 and 89 FTP. Russ
  4. It should run on any older computer Mike.
  5. I am recording 300 50s, 60s, 70s 45 RPM records to one or two 10.5 inch reel to reel tapes, it is by far the best audio sound that you will get

There i video posted not as good as the real audio but still good.

  6. Its not easy to record these records and it does take time, this video is a shadow of what is on my reel to reel tape, 10.5 inch both sides I should have maybe 100 records on it, to get the audio just strip the audio out of this file, it will be made available on my NAS server soon.
  7. I am recording all 200 of my 45s in a video and on reel to reel tape, 10.5 inch slow speed , both sides..... Atariman2004 since you asked first, do you have a reel to reel machine and if so I will send you a 7 inch reel with all of my 45s from the 50s and 60s on it maybe 2 of them, advantage is that it is NOT in digital but audio, real audio , I have been recording them all (300 455 rpm records) from my Sony PS-LX55-II with a Shure cartridge on a Yamaha RX-V595 amplifier. I can offer reel to reel tapes but each one would be made by hand and the records recorded one at a time , very time consuming but its the best you can get for audio quality. I do have the 100 watt amp that I use to process all reel to reel tapes, I can also put them on 90 minute chromium oxide cassettes. CD and DVD or Blu-Ray would be digital and that's no good, audio quality is not good. Is there anyone with the Parrot or Parrot II for the Atari 8 Bit. 45 rmp record number_65.mp4
  8. It was terminated due to huge violations.... I am going to put my NAS server back online and my BBS as well , over 16 TBs of online storage.... to connect go to spynet.ddns.net : ports 21 and 23 21 is FTP and 23 is Telnet the telnet one is up right now I have to put the FTP back up Russ
  9. Hey guys and gals its only been 2 years since i started production on an ide module for the Atari Portfolio and without the help from Doug Smith we would be another 2 years before we would be ready for production. We have a prototype of the Atari Portfolio Ide kit, Doug said he can design a whole new circuit board and then we would send off th cad file to china for 10 boards at a time , totally populated and tested. We are looking realistically at a lead time of more than two months on this IDE kit. Doug was saying to me that everything is so close together on the top of the Parallell interface, it will be a real difficult time cutting traces on both sides of the Parallel Interfaces then he discovered that these traces only go to the row of inductors on the top of the board an easy modification just remove specific inductors from the board. So we are a go with this project !!!!! I intend to purchase ide to cf adapters from Amazon and then also purchase CF to SD adapters to complete the project. Russ Campbell
