I tried giving it a good clean inside but there's not change. I only have two cartridges so I tried them and Caverns or Mars won't work -goes straight to self test. Star Raiders (I think that's what it's called) did work though. I also noticed that in the memory test several of the little RAM boxes come up red rather than green (see attachment). I seem to remember I was getting into POKE commands around the time it broke (at least 10 years ago). What chance have I got of saving it? Also forgot to mention I have an ST (working) at home no longer needed let me know if you want it! :wink:

I have two broken Ataris, a 400 and an 800XL I think the 400 is done for but may be useful for spares? The XL always boots into self test mode. I'm hoping this may be fixable - does anyone have any advice? Simon
