  1. I played some Demons Souls when it came out, but did not get into it that much. Skipped both Dark Souls. Liking Bloodborne allot more and plan on sticking with it. Need to give Demons Souls another chance now that I understand more about how you are suppose to play these games.
  2. Been enjoying Bloodborne and Axiom Verge. Slowing progressing in Bloodborne, but it's a struggle. Hope to finish Axiom Verge on my next day off. Loving it so far.
  3. Played some Mighty Final Fight. The Virtual Console is slowing shaping up. It has some great games that are getting expensive and hard to find on there original consoles. Looking forward to more DS and N64 stuff.
  4. Got my copy cheap when the local K-Mart closed down and was marking every thing down. I still have the box and all. Think, I remember hearing the X-Box version is actually more censored. Is it not?
  5. I will be going to CGE 2012. It is my first CGE and trip to Vegas. I plan on hanging out with the the Retro Gaming Roundup podcast guys some. They are going to Insert Coins (a Barcade) Saturday night and Pinball Hall of Fame after the show Sunday. Hope Atariage will be there. Looking forward to the show.
  6. If you cancel your service any "free games" become unavailable until you resubscribe. Anything you buy at a discount is still available. I like the Plus service. I had been wanting to get Choplifter HD and Hard Corps for awhile. Glad I waited.
  7. Staff of Kings came out in 2009 for the Wii and PS2. I would not call it a good game, though. The Indiana Jones Lego games are on the current systems. Yeah, it's one of those franchises that has a really bad track record on video games. Their was some good adventure games.
  8. My RPG playing began on the NES. Dragon Warrior (Dragon Quest) would be the first I finished. Followed by The Magic of Scheherazade, which is an interesting hybrid of a game. I beat Final Fantasy on the system later after getting into the series on the SNES. Back on the subject of The Magic of Scheherazade. This game mixed elements of Zelda with that of Dragon Quest. The overworld map plays like Zelda with you running around hitting things with a sword, but randomly when you crossed to the next screen you would enter a turn based combat setup like a Dragon Quest game. In the turn based section you had a party and stats and everything. It even had time travel elements before both Chrono Trigger and Ocarania of TIme. A great NES RPG that is not talked about alot.
  9. Shantae Risky's Revenge and the Mighty series (Mighty Flip Champ, Mighty Milkyway, Mighty Switchforce) are really fun games by developer Wayforward. The ports of Vvvvvv and Cave Story are both great. Pushmo is a really cool puzzle game with nice 3D effects. Zen Pinball is an ok pinball game. And to end, I am a big fan of 3D Classics Twinbee, a vertical shooter by Konami that was on the Famicom.
